Sarah Palin – Shocking Contrast to Daily Obamanations

You could say that I have Obamanation fatigue. Every day that I reach to my keyboard to put my point of view out in cyberspace, I truly find something perilous that the Man, his cronies and emboldened Statist Democrats are pushing in their ‘now or never’ modus operandi. It wears thin on a person, it really does. Wave after wave perpetually smashing the hull of America, permanently setting a disastrous course. A setting not guided by the stars of liberty, individualism, exceptionalism, sanctity and sovereignty of individual souls or blind justice. A setting guided by the precise opposite of such things.

Our ship America taking water, the peril of our course; putting into perspective the thoughts and words of a public figure with a diametrically opposite sense. Story here.

Sarah Palin, Anchorage Alaska yesterday – “Since when can you get out of a huge national debt by creating trillions of dollars of new debt? It all really is so backwards and skewed as to sound like absolute nonsense when some of this economic policy is explained.”

She continues – “We need to be aware of the creation of a fearful population, and fearful lawmakers, being led to believe that big government is the answer, to bail out the private sector, because then government gets to get in there and control it,” and mark my words, this is going to be next, I fear, bail out next debt-ridden states. Then government gets to get in there and control the people.”

And More -“Some in Washington would approach our economic woes in ways that absolutely defy Economics 101, and they fly in the face of principles, providing opportunity for industrious Americans to succeed or to fail on their own accord those principles, it makes you wonder what the heck some in Washington are trying to accomplish here.”

Brilliantly simple, plainly put from Anchorage Alaska. Doesn’t it resonate when you hear a real conservative speak, straight from the heart and void of the typical establishment mumbo- jumbo? Compare her words with the god-awful bogus ‘listening RINO tour’ recently. The Repulicrat talking bobbleheads that say ‘we need to let Reagan go.’ She just says the most basic concerns of concerned minds – that we are losing our economic system and way of life, that we didn’t have a chance to debate it, much less stop it.

And that is why the Left is pushing so hard and so fast – they know that there are tens of millions of Sarah Palins waking from a silver-tongue messianic hangover , ready to stand and say ‘that’s it.’

Remember, our beliefs are simple Freedom, Abundance and Responsibility.

Count me in. Weary and ready.

Opus – me too, I haven't written about Palin since starting my blog, it's amazing to me to read her words after being saturated with the pathetic joke socialist that we are stuck with

i am so ready for a revolution! wake up people, wake up!

Joie – Imagine Palin leading our revolution? Could we be stopped?

That sounds pretty good. I basically like Palin, but I'm a little cautious about her. I'm wary of anyone that would be John McCain's running mate and then she held her hand out with a bunch of other GOP governors earlier this year for stimulus money. I want to like her, but I'm going to wait her out. Actions speak louder than words and despite what I just mentioned, I am happy that she later turned down at least some of that stimulus money.

I'm tired of thinking and talking about Obama too. Sadly, this is just the beginning. I'm not a negative person but it's impossible not to be negative right now.

Carl – I understand your concern, as I said I haven't even posted on her before. I basically do like her as well, her conservative credentials aren't suspect as most of the GOP is today, although she isn't perfect. I did like the recent speech so I must give credit where it is due. Comparing Palin to Ron or Rand Paul? I'd give her a 70% and a 95% to the Pauls….thanks for reading!

RKL – I know it's not, I need to blog more in the early morning when I have some caffeine in me, I feel a bit more positive. I'm not depressed, just extremely pissed and angry…

lol, now you know how we felt about Bush. There is truth to her sentiment, but regarding a debate? Well that never happened. You and I have had far more productiove debates than the GOP ever has since Obama's inauguration. One party calling all the shots is NEVER EVER EEEEEEVER a good thing. Funny statement coming from a liberal I suppose. But with Bush, the GOP blocked out dems with the the power of the veto pen, and with Obama, the GOP doesn't wanna play ball. And policy from the far right went largely unchallenged, and policy from the left, at least to conservative thinkers is sending us to hell in a hand basket. It is a shame, that you have a president who LOVES to debate, but the debate isn't happening with his dissenters, only his followers.

I look forward to the day we have a president every one in the country likes…

TL – Honestly sir, I felt the same about Bush as I do Obama in many ways. As I was just talking with Carl here about, a lot of conservatives (surprisinlgly) didn't agree with him, I believe that he set the course that Obama is now on – filling the void so to speak. I agree that you and I have had better debates than the elected officials, we come to things with a sense of civility and decor, knowing that at the end of the day, even if we disagree, we can do so respectfully and know that we are Americans. Pols do no such thing! I agree wholeheartedly that one party rule is Never a good thing, as the GOP of the last several years used their unanimity in corruptive ways – increasing largess, regulatory burden, pork spending, government crony interests and general curtailing of freedoms, all under a Republican veil. And thus conservatives/libertarians/limited government people stayed home and the left surged in 2008. I do believe with all of my being that the policies of today are going to send us on the road to hell, it will just be too late for me to say 'I told you so' when it becomes patently obvious and our way of life has taken a drastic hit….I don't think that we will ever again have a president that everyone likes, we are the most polarized in our nation since the civil war, in my opinion. And BTW, it's not a republican/democrat chasm – it's a difference in diametrically opposed philosophies…..thanks for reading

LCR: Awesome post!!! Had Sarah been put on the head of the ticket instead of being #2, things may have been very different. She had our base truly energized unlike anything I had ever seen before. And she's MUCH classier than Michelle will ever aspire to be.

Be sure to listen to her speech in Evansville back in April. This weekend she has 3 events in NY, an Autism walk, Auburn's founders day where she will be in their parade and give 2 speeches one open to the public, and one a fundraiser for Seward House, and then will be honored with an award by Independent Group Home Living Foundation at their yearly fundraising gala, where there will be local, state and federal bigshots. All 3 events where she will shine.

Don't forget her statement on the murder of George Tiller, followed by her statement on the murder of Pvt Long in Little Rock AR. Both excellent statements.

Investors Business Daily has run 3 pro-Palin editorials in as many weeks, 2 dealing with energy issues, and 1 about her stand against 0bama's cuts in missile defense in light of N. Korea's recent behavior.

For those who doubt who she is and what she is all about, these things say a great deal.

It should also be noted that when she was in Evansville local GOP leaders offered to arrange a fundraising event for SarahPAC her leadership PAC, and she turned down that opportunity. What other politician turns down a chance to raise money for their PAC's or reelection campaigns? That in itself is another indication of just who Sarah Palin is.

As the mother of two kids on the Autism Spectrum, I know Sarah understands the needs and emotions of special needs families. She would be a great advocate for those who can't advocate for themselves.

LCR, to add to her already glowing resume, I believe Sarah Palin not only has the Alaska Constitution memorized, she's prob'ly one of the few pols in the country that actually quotes the US Constitution as well and knows that we're a Republic and not a democracy!

Bitterclinger – I agree, there may be 12 of them in congress, that is all! Thanks for reading, hope to see you more!
