I Agree with this Obama Bow

by the Left Coast Rebel

It’s not an emperor, or Mid-east king, a communist leader, or even a mayor – for a first.

And it’s not a photoshop:

Obama

Hat-tip Weasel Zippers. Paging (or bowing to) Chris Christie. Like I said, it’s not a photoshop:

President Barack Obama laughs as he is greeted by N.J. Gov. Chris Christie, center and Newark Mayor Cory Booker, left, after exiting Air Force One at Newark Liberty International Airport, N.J. , Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The President is in the area to meet local business leaders in Edison, N.J.
SisterToldjah has a great correlating post up today as well, “The rise of the strong Republican Governor.” Two of my favorites are on her hit list as well.

  1. You're absolutely right. This is the very first Obama bow I've seen that I can agree with!

  2. It's an interesting picture. Christie isn't even looking at obama, and isn't at all intimidated to be in "the great one's" presence. Good for you Governor Christie!! I still don't understand obama's need to bow, but perhaps it's comparable to how all dogs cower to the alpha male. maybe obama just isn't the alpha male he tries to project?

  4. @Hoping – Oh, I think there is a fairly strong case to Obama NOT being an alpha male. Ask the boyz at Hillbuzz about Obama's lifetime membership to a mens spa in Boystown Chicago, or the strange events surrounding Kal Penn…

that being said…WHAT IS HIS DEAL WITH BOWING? CRAP!

  5. I love this photo and agree, it's the first time Obama's bow is appropriate. You're post is going up on TCL FB. Thanks for posting.

I think a fairly strong case can be made that Obama isn't male at all.
