DNC video: “Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To”

By the Full Metal Patriot

The Democrats started their convention last night with a bit of unexpected honesty. They tried to put their best spin on big government, including the notion that our federal government owns every American.

The Democrat Party has completely lost it. They have no understanding about our nation’s foundation. The government belongs to us, we do not belong to the government. Government exists to serve us, we do not exist to serve government.

idiot Democrat is fine with being owned by government
Now, some of you may be saying, “Come on, FMP, they weren’t actually saying the government owns people. They were meaning that Americans belong to government as if it’s a big nationwide club.” If I was inclined to give the Democrat Party the benefit of the doubt, I might agree with you. But after watching the steady encroachment on our liberties by the Nanny State of the Left, I just can’t be so naive.

The folks at RevealPolitics asked several Democrats at the convention how they felt about belonging to the government, and the results might surprise you. One Leftist actually came right out and said he’s fine with being owned by the federal government! Big Brother would be proud!

My view of the federal government is more in line with George Washington:
“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”
Instead of propaganda which acclimates Americans to the notion of being chattel, perhaps the DNC should have aired some of Disney’s classic videos. About half of our fellow Americans need Jiminy to tell them,“Try it again, stupid!”

  2. There is little to understand really. Sheeple being lead by an evil ideology. The same ideology our classical liberal founders broke from to create this once great republic.

There is much many seem not to know or understand about history.
