Barack Obama to CNBC Town Hall: “Federal Government is Probably Less Intrusive now than it was Thirty Years Ago”

by the Left Coast Rebel

It’s just so mind-bogglingly-incredible. CNBC’s ‘Town Hall Event with President Obama’ (at least what I could stomach) was everything that one should expect. A stacked, worshiping, advocate crowd. Questions from attendees that sounded like campaign volunteers.

Obama blaming, smiling, blaming. And oh yah, talking down to the tea party, business and his detractors – not to mention class envy, not-so-subtle jabs at wealth creation and wealth creators.

But the money-line?

“The Federal government is probably less intrusive than it was thirty years ago.”

So there you have it, tea party folks. Pack it up, go home and stay home on November 2. That goes for the rest of you too, America. Nothing to see here.

Which number in the Alinsky playbook is denial this monumental?

It’s no wonder that more Americans view their beliefs closer aligned to Palin these days…

Sure, the federal government is less intrusive than it was in 1980.
