An Open Letter to Trump Supporters: Stick a Fork in Him, He’s Done

I am no Trump fan, but I have generally given him the benefit of the doubt, but I doubt no longer. Trump from 2008:
“Bush has been so bad. Maybe the worst president in this history of this country. He has been so incompetent, so bad, so evil, that I don’t think any Republican could have won”
Does this guy’s judgment match your own? Or when, in his estimation, George Bush attacked Iraq
“…just because he wanted to do it”
But wait! There’s more! To Greta Van Sustern:
His (Obama’s) speech was great last night. I thought it was inspiring in every way. And, hopefully he’s going to do a great job. But the way I look at it, he cannot do worse than Bush.
It may sound trite, Donald, but,
“You’re Fired!”
At the risk of piling on, Trump is also the ‘rodeo clown’ who said of Charles Krauthammer, whose books the Donald has not read, perhaps because they have insufficient pictures?
(Krauthammer’s) “a totally overrated person that dislikes me personally. I’ve never met him. He’s a totally overrated guy, doesn’t know what he’s doing.”

  1. "They may be sons of bitches, but they're our sons of bitches".

    – Franklin Delano Roosevelt

As long as he's making this issue work for our side, what he said in those thrilling days of yesteryear is secondary.

    1. I'm with Trump on immigration…this time. I understand he blasted Romney for Mitt's much kinder and gentler immigration plan as "too cruel" back in 2012.

  2. If'n you ask me, Trump isn't in it to win. He knows he is basically seen as an unelectable clownfish. However, he isn't gonna just bail out any time soon. He knows that others will go broke and bail way sooner than he will. It won't be lack of money that pushes him out but lack of votes. He knows that. But while he has the spotlight (and attention is what he craves) he is gonna become the elephant in the room nobody can ignore and he's gonna bring up every ugly painful issue that the Left prays we don't bring up and that Establishment GOP jellybacks are too afraid to bring up. Ergo, theretofore, I love the fact that he's in it and pissing in everyone's cornflakes. He doesn't have to fear losing a job or previously elected position if he says un-PC things and brings up unpleasant things like illegals or the budget or any one of a myriad of things. He is gonna force the REAL candidate for the GOP to buck up and capitalize on exposing the Left's heinous agendas.

    1. I think you're right about the depth of his presidential ambitions. I'm just afraid he's becoming the Todd Akin of this race. Everyone else is asked about Trump, and not necessarily what he's saying but about how he's saying it. I want all the wannabees and ain'tnevergonnabees out of the race as soon as possible so we can have a real debate about who's qualified to be the next president.

  3. Trump or Hillary … I would vote Trump. Other than that, his recent win on immigration is more about circumstance and I don't think he would be a good President. The aspect that most people like about Trump is that PC has become Totalitarianism and he rejects that. In that way, we don't need an election we need a revolution and he exposes that truth for the moment.
