Let me ask you this, when was the last time 6 sheriff’s deputies, in the middle of the night, were needed to bring in a parolee for allegedly violating the terms of his probation; owning or using a device with internet access?
Of course this isn't about the "Innocence of Muslims" video at all.
[Anyone with an ounce of rational thought understands that the attacks on our embassies are most likely a direct response to our intervention in the Middle East with our campaign of bombing and murdering citizens of nations that pose no threat to our national security.]...
No, this is about an Administration that is embarrassed because they got caught with their pants down and are looking for a scapegoat.
Nakoula Basseley Nakoula could be the biggest scumbag on the planet for all I know but that misses the entire point. This is still America, we still have a Constitution and free speech is still protected under the law.
If Barry, Hillary or any of the other numbskulls in the Administration think this little dog and pony show is going to placate radicals who hate us for the occupations and destruction of their lands and murders of their countrymen, they are dumber than I thought.
As an aside, this incident will hopefully open the eyes to the supporters of the indefinite detention provision in the NDAA. This is Exhibit B for why so many people vehemently oppose it and why a federal judge, just this week, made permanent an injunction banning it.
Exhibit A being the less publicized case of former Marine Brandon Raub who was detained and locked up in a psych ward because of his anti-government postings on Facebook.
It's incidents like these that ought to serve as reminders that each one of us is only free because we haven't yet seen the fence.
