This is a fantastic video (though it conveniently omits Paul's "controversial" positions, many of which played a big part in the success of his 2012 run) that feels bittersweet in the end.
Why's that? Well, for starters, Ron Paul is retiring. Who will take his torch? Who in leadership will have the guts, gravitas, intellect and stick-to-it-ness that Ron Paul has had these last (several) decades in defending the individual against the masses?...
Also, a tribute video is a sorry second place for a much-deserved-and-earned speaking slot for the man that has ignited the flame of freedom in countless Americans.
Just today at my local college campus, I heard a young man lamenting the fact that Ron Paul was not allowed to speak at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
He was a marine and and has served several tours of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan and was comfortable (I assume) with considering Paul's views on the military.
