Actions and Consequences...

By the Left Coast Rebel

The crooked Republican establishment gets by thinking that the grassroots isn't paying attention; or even worse, that we are paying attention but will reluctantly vote for the lesser of two evils in the end.

Enter John Boehner. John Boehner likes to talk the limited government talk but when push comes to shove, he goes golfing.

But some people are paying attention and the Republican National Committee should be too:

Like the soup Nazi said, No Money For You, RNC!

Boehner's support for the Orwellian Ex-PATRIOT Act should be an overwhelming signal to every conservative in America that John Boehner is no conservative.

  2. I knew it wasn't my image when I saw the attribution and it contained "vegan." I'm on my way out to find some good ribs to BBQ this weekend. All the rest of those things could have been me.

  3. I can't believe that idiot did that! Well, I guess, I can since is Boehner, but i'm pissed about it. This is the type of crap that makes people say "The Republicans are no different than the Democrats." I hope that joke loses his seat as speaker of the house. He's as much a pandering douche bag as the Democrats! We are 16 trillion in debt, and they think we are an unlimited piggybank. They just keep finding new ways to make claim to our money as if they are entitled to it! The guy is not even a citizen anymore, and they still want to find a way to get their grubby hands on his money! Facebook paying taxes during operation, creating jobs, giving companies a place to advertise and providing services to everyone for free isn't enough. Then they have to feign "OUTRAGE." WHAT MAKES THE GOVERNMENT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING? I'm just mad.

    1. "WHAT MAKES THE GOVERNMENT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING?"

Well, I am guessing the government (theoretically that's us) is entitled to whatever it takes to provide the services and infrastructure the general population demands.

From my vantage point the view is telling me the general populace is demanding a lot. But I guess that is a discussion for another day.

Be thinking along the lines of the MIC and entitlement overload situation.

Now back to Bastiat, Rand and a good glass of wine.

    3. Wanted to add to my comment, didn't know it would create that thing above this post, anyway:

The problem is, they are creating services where there aren't demands, like healthcare reform. They are even advertising services trying to create demand, like foodstamps and health care reform.

Don't tell me "theoretically the government is us." I've heard that before from liberals. The government is not us. I don't get to go over to the nearest naval base and get in an F15 to take it for a spin. Those are my tax dollars. They take your money, and decide what to do with it. We are not a hive mind, and the type of situation where "theoretically the government is us" is either a purely Communist government where we are all equals, which can never realistically exist in large communities, or if we were all bugs out of the movie Starship Troopers.

    1. Likely, unless people start to accept responsibility for themselves in major fashion and ask much less of the government they have ALLOWED to grow into Leviathan while they complacently went about whatever it was they were doing.
