Rick Santorum Unveiled

By the Left Coast Rebel

This video clip pretty much seals the deal for me:

"There is no such society that I am aware of, where we've had radical individualism and that it succeeds as a culture."
Ever hear of the United States of America, Rick? It wasn't until your progressive overlord brethren got their hands on the most successful model of individual freedom the world has ever seen that the train came off the rails and we ended up in the socialist nightmare we find ourselves in. Before you guys ruined this society of radical individualism we were infinitely better off and it was precisely because of radical individualism.

Absolutely shockingly doggone spooky.

Is Rick Santorum the not-Romney candidate that is actually much worse than even Newt Gingrich?

  1. What do you mean, 'x-posted @ LCR', this IS LCR...?

I don't know which one of you guys wrote this, but agreed IN FULL

Santorum is just weak, a Charlie Brown type character who Obama (Lucie) will simply yank the ball away as we head towards massive defeat

Not thanks- if Noot can't come back I'd prefer and open convention, Palin vs. Jeb Bush or some such thing.

And you can mark me down for 'cuda there. We used to fear her negatives, and honestly I was glad she didn't run. But now, after how all the negative campaigning has played out... Palin looks more than worth a chance againt from where I'm standing.

  2. I made the same mistake, thinking that there was no way that could be taken out of context. I said, " There is no way that that could be taken out of context because what he said is the context. "

Well it was out of context... I will be back with a link

  4. I agree, this is out of context. He is trying to be specific about an immoral society where individuals do not self regulate through a moral education. I do not believe he is saying that government is the solution to morality. It seems the clip is edited in the break between the government view of libertarians and the societies success. Listen closely at 30-32 seconds in the top video.

It has been my goal to listen closely to each of the candidates and I have not yet backed anyone. The top video does not line up with the several CSPAN and radio interviews of Santorum that I have reviewed.

    2. You are not a Paul bot are you? That what you sound like.

Surely not. I doubt the LCR would let a member of the tinfoil hat brigade comment on his site.

    3. And you sound precisely as though you have your head so far up where the sun don't shine it has gotten stuck. Yet I am sure you proclaim to have seen the light.

      Pathetic really.

  6. .

Can the RepublicanT Party win without the woman vote?

Now that each of you big bad macho types has soiled himself over just how 'bad' he is and how this is or is not significant/context, cut to the chase.

The RepublicanT Party has pretty much cut itself off from Hispanics and almost all non-white voters. Your niche candidates may give you'all thrills up and down your legs, but out in the big bad world, the general voters are not with you.

The real question is "Are YOU going to vote for Mr Romney?"

    1. The real answer is simple: No.

Leave it to you to completely miss the point of this post.

  7. I would like to point out that before the early 1900s, prostitution was not illegal, drugs were not illegal, marriage was still a church function and had not yet entered the government control matrix.

It was progressives who made all these items issues, and you can bet they benefited from the control of these. Just giving the wider context.

And I am a Paulnut, but I prefer the term "Rebel Scum" seeing how I contend for the Old Republic.
