Mercedes-Driving Moonbats for Che Guevara!

By the Left Coast Rebel

File this one in the altogether weird and how-the-hell-is-this-good-for-their-business-model file:

(MSNBC) Daimler AG apologized Thursday for using an image of Marxist revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara during a promotional presentation for Mercedes-Benz cars.

The image briefly appeared Tuesday during a presentation by Dieter Zetsche, head of Daimler's Mercedes unit, at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It reproduced a famous Alberto Korda photo of Guevara, the Argentine communist who spearheaded the revolution that brought Fidel Castro to power in Cuba. The photo became a symbol of communist revolutionary movements during the 1960s and '70s.

I guess there are a lot of communist moonbats residing in Los Angeles driving luxury cars. I guess this kind of plea appeals to them.

As to any of you that know the truth on the despot, murderer that was Che Guevara, you just gotta love this line in the MSNBC article:

Activists reacted with horror to the appropriation of Guevara, whom many political conservatives and Cuban-Americans consider a mass murderer who helped subjugate Cuba.
Of course, as is the case with any figure on the communist left (Lenin, Mao, Che, the list goes on), the left in this country handles the figure (and history of the person) with kid gloves. Some say Lenin is responsible for millions of deaths but, some say that Mao slaughtered his fellow countrymen while others claim, conservative activists say....

This is not a photo-shop:
Viva la Useful Idiot Revolucion!

  1. Rich 1% L.A. brats who think they're hip for being "Revolutionaries" while driving around in their Mercedes, Porches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris haven't a frickin clue what would happen to them if real Guevara inspired communists rose to power here.

Here's a clue clueless ones: Mass graves for the brats of the 1%. Think on that a little bit.

  2. Hey, maybe Charles Manson could be the spokesman for the Government Motors Chevy Volt. The Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan could be pardoned by Obama, then walk guns to Gaza. All this is starting to make sense.

  3. Since I live in a highly progressive area, this comes as no surprise to me. There is a guy I see on the metro often who dresses like Che. One day I am going to get up the nerve to ask if he just likes murders or is he one. But I will have my gun with me when I do it.

Have these people read his diary? I mean he didn't hide who he was at all. I just don't get the attraction to someone like him.
