The Sorriest President in the History of the Republic™

By Proof

In April of 2009, this is what Karl Rove had to say about Barack Obama:

President Barack Obama has finished the second leg of his international confession tour. In less than 100 days, he has apologized on three continents for what he views as the sins of America and his predecessors.

Recently, an apology was extended to the family of al-Qaeda propagandist and recruiter Samir Khan. Samir Khan was killed in an air strike that took place September 30 in Yemen.

Funny. At least one commenter said it was because liberals are more compassionate than conservatives are. Yeah. Right. Just for grins, want to check and see if Obama extended "condolences" towards Osama bin Laden's wife or family? Didn't think so...

And via wikileaks, we're told that Obama wanted to travel to Hiroshima to apologize for the way the US ended the war with Japan, over half a century ago.

You know, Clinton was known for frequently apologizing for the US when he was president, but I think the evidence suggests that no president is sorrier than the one we have now.

I thought the World Apology Tour was over. It would have been cheaper, created more jobs, and created less CO2 if Obama just built a World Apology Monument.

If I were president I'd say to the rest of the world, "For everything that the United States should probably apologize for, there are at least hundred worse things you did for which I should tell you to go to Hell."

  2. As sorry of a president as he is, he just may out do himself...

  3. I'm shocked that he has apologized to the Brits yet for defeating them in the Revolutionary war and the War of 1812.

  4. Nick: I think many of America's enemies see the Obama apology tours as a sign of weakness.

There's plenty of sorry left for at least the next 15 months.

mm: I think his next apology will be to Waldo for not finding him faster.

    "Karl Rove"!??!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Great source, 'Karl Rove'. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Thank you for a great laugh. Next you will be quoting Oliver North on the evils of legal technicalities that get accused criminal off.

Please give date and time when a President gave 'an apology tour'.

This is so yesterday anyway. You do realize even Fox/Murdoch Media apologized for their lying about 'Mr Obama going to Japan' story. Right?

I fondly remember the World Apology Tour 2009, complete with bowing to foreigners. Such a fantastic and sensitive President, that Barack Hussein Obama.
