A Vote for Perry Insures the Status Quo...

If the Iowa Caucus turns out to be the predictor of who the republican nominee will be in 2012 little of significance will change. Republicans will essentially offer up a "red" statist who loves power, big brother government, and offering yet a bigger teat to suckle on.

There is essentially no difference between a democratic teat and a republican teat. Rather it is six of one and a half dozen of the other.

Confirming a surge seen in polling across the nation, Texas Governor Rick Perry has moved into first place among Republican voters in Iowa, host state to the first-in-the-nation caucus early next year.

A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of those likely to participate in the Iowa GOP Caucus shows that Perry is the first choice for 29%. Essentially tied for second are Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann at 18% and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 17%. Texas Congressman Ron Paul picks up 14% of the vote, and nobody else currently reaches the five percent (5%) mark.

A month ago, before Perry officially entered the race, Bachmann and Romney were essentially tied for the lead with Perry in fourth place.

The new Iowa results are consistent with national polling which also shows Perry on top. Perry leads President Obama by three in an early look at a possible general election matchup. Other top Republican contenders are close. The president trails a generic Republican by eight. {Read More}

Emblematic of the largest teat ever presented to the American people. And to think they elected him. Go figure...

Update 2X:

The antidote to Perry and Obama...

Specifically: here, here, here, and here

  1. I think Perry will be a bigger disaster than Obama should he get the nomination and win. Right now, everyone on the planet, unless the synopsis in their brains aren't just firing, know what Obama is now and the threat he poses, Perry would be worse as he will just continue with Obama's socialistic policies only now the GOP will be on board and nobody will resist with possible exception of the tea party but they're too few and fragmented. Bush was too big of a RINO and Perry will make him look like Reagan in comparison with his big brother policies including force vaccination of a questionable vaccine. Anyone think Perry is the Reagan we need after Obama should start writing the republic's epitaph. The last election was too much of a damn of if we do and damned if we don't. We don't need it in 2012, there is way too much on the line now.

  2. madmath1... Great analysis and comment. Indeed we must change the status qou. Which is exactly what Mr. Polish represents.

  3. Even the biggest of "teats" can dry up...

  4. I totally agree. It is one mongrel dog party with a party philosophy that is grow government from both sides. You are becoming a very bright spot on my blogroll...I am glad I found you.
