Ron Paul Moneybomb: June 5, 2011

By the Left Coast Rebel

Earlier this week, Wesley Messamore of Humble Libertarian kindly invited me to guest on the event that will be raising money millions for Ron Paul's presidential candidacy, all day, June 5.

I'm busy, and unfortunately couldn't give a definitive answer to Wes's invitation, of which I just curtly apologized to the young Messamore.

"Everything's a-ok," Wes fired back in an email, "the time slot that you would have been on is full...but look at who I am interviewing at 6 PM ET this Sunday," (I sensed faintly that he may have been rubbing in the last of his comment).

I figured he might be chatting with a big name, say Peter Schiff, or another of many notables that come to mind. For example, last year I guest-hosted Wes's Blogtalk radio show and Jack Hunter -- aka, the Southern Avenger -- called in. Wes knows how to line them up, a pretty big name would have not surprised me.

So I scrolled through the list of who's-who in the liberty movement (bottom of the page, look, even Barry Goldwater Jr. is taking part), distractedly missed the 6:00 time slot and went back and scanned the list again.

Lo and behold, Wes is interviewing none other than Dr. No himself.

Way to go, Wes!

  1. Thanks so much for sharing this, Tim! I'm incredibly humbled and excited by this opportunity and most of all, I'm hoping we raise a lot of money for Washington's most fierce defender of the Constitution so he can mount a successful presidential bid. What's it going to be, America? Revolution or RomneyCare?

  2. No problem. Yes, can you imagine American's collective shock, horror and dismay when, upon being elected, Mitt Romney fails to defund "waiver" or repeal Obamacare?

I guaran-damn-tee that would be the case.

  3. What day is not a money bomb for Ron Paul? That would be news.

  4. JACG - I know, and each time he raises an astounding amount of money.
