Obama Thinks it Would be 'easier' to be President of an Authoritarian, Communist Nation

by the Left Coast Rebel

If this doesn't tell you everything that is wrong with this man, this White House, our government and America today, nothing will.

Words (almost) fail me. Taken from an article that appeared in the New York Times yesterday:

How Mr. Obama manages to do that while also balancing American interests is a question that officials acknowledge will plague this historic president for months to come. Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. As one official put it, “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.”

Its true -- no one actually does scrutinize Hu Jintao's words (or actions) around the world like they do the words of the POTUS. But why is that? Simple. Hu Jintao is the president dictator (or titular head) of one-party communist rule of a communist nation. Communist nations are not free. Because of this, people around the world (like in Tahrir Square) don't look to communist nations for inspiration or guidance as they put their lives at risk in revolt against the tyranny in their own lands. They look to the leader of the Free World. And the Leader of the Free World has failed them, the Free World and especially the world's last hope for freedom -- America.

I guess that we can logically assume that this man also thinks it would be easier to be Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro or (fill in the communist despot here). After all, when a president thinks of himself as monarchical, omnipotent, all-knowing -- an omnipresent philosopher king to save America from itself -- ruling over people that cherish their freedoms and "cling bitterly" to their liberties is so damned hard, especially when taking away those cherished freedoms (subtly or in plain sight) is all that motivates you as President of the United States.

H/T Another Black Conservative.

  1. I have evidence of this from his own words...
    Look here

  2. Obama would have never become President in such a system. He lack the requisite political skills to have risen to the top of a party hierarchy.

  3. LCR - It is indeed in some ways easier to rule as a dictator {tyrant} with an iron fist and a gulag to imprison dissenting opinion. Living in a vacuum of where opposition is not allowed is no doubt comforting to the tyrannical despot.

And, Obama may be one who is secretly desirous of dictatorial powers. It is for the people of this nation to decide that, and it is for those of us that cherish liberty to point out Obama's possible designs for the future of America.

From that perspective one can say Obama has failed those who look to America for the example of what a democratic republic should be.

But in all fairness there are many examples of recent past presidents who have failed them {and us by example} as well.

We should focus on the political, governmental, and philosophical attributes of the individual rather than the individual themselves.

Our nations problems are much deeper at this stage than any one man. Even if he is the president.

Let us attack the flawed ideas, with supporting evidence, rather than the man or women. For if we do reason and rationality will ultimately prevail.

Just the humble opinion of one independent conservative.

  4. Les, I totally agree and appreciate the insight. Obama simply highlights the worst or the worst leadership America has ever seen and you are right -- our nation's problems transcend even the most horrible White House Impostor imaginable (although he certainly has done his best to bring this nation to its knees).
