(VIDEO) Atlas Shrugged Movie Trailer, Behind the Scenes

by the Left Coast Rebel

T. Christopher over at Republican Redefined scooped me on the Atlas Shrugged story, writing:

The long-awaited theatrical version of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged is finally ready to hit theaters and is set for release April 15, 2001 nation-wide. Here’s the first official trailer.

If you need a little context, I’d suggest grabbing a copy or at least checking out the Cliffs Notes. And yes, that’s the link. I’ve got that site bookmarked. I never was much of a reader. If you really want to cut corners, here’s an narrated/audio “quick overview.”

Like many conservatives and libertarians, Ayn Rand's magnum opus Atlas Shrugged (and her other works) made a huge difference in my worldview, lasting to this day. I hope that the Atlas Shrugged movie does her vision justice, this damned thing has been rumored for years!

Here's some more (pretty neat to see the behind the scenes footage):

Visit the official Atlas Shrugged movie site here. Atlas Shrugged will be released April 15, 2011.
