Think Progress' lame media pissing contest

Think Progress is taking aim (m) at Fox News for daring to *gasp* ...run a commercial break today. Give me a freaking break. Like MSNBC hasn't run commercials, or as if it didn't spend all last weekend devoting a totally inordinate amount of coverage (i.e. any coverage at all unless you're a tabloid or Perez Hilton) to Charlie Sheen while Egyptians were getting beaten in the streets.

But the real tragedy here is that the supposedly intellectual "thinkers" at Think Progress are gullible enough to play the game of "my cable news station can beat up your cable news station." Honestly want to know how different Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC are? About as different as RC Cola, Coca Cola, and Pepsi... sure you can taste a difference, but in the end they're all just cola flavored, carbonated drinks- they're the same freaking thing.

Not to mention they're all sugary, full of air, and bad for you. (The cable news that is.) Instead you should read blogs or hell- maybe even Rupert Murdoch's cool new iPad app.

  1. I've come to expect less from the LSM...
    But as for me, I prefer Pepsi given a choice. And in our free market society, we have a choice. In my opinion, the best the LSM has to offer is Fox news... for now.
