Rule 5 Video: Name That Band

By RightKlik

Can you name this band? The image above is a hint. Another hint after the video...

This is a rare full-length version of this music video. I found a portion of the video on Dailymotion, but the Dailymotion clip only contains the first half. After I searched for about two hours, I found the video in its entirety on the director's website.

In celebration of the oft-forgotten MEGO clause of Rule 5:
B. Mind the MEGO factor -- All politics all the time gets boring after a while. Observant readers will notice that the headlines at Hot Air often feature silly celebrity tabloid stuff and News Of The Weird. Even a stone political junkie cannot subsist on a 24/7 diet of politics...it's a safety valve to make sure we don't become humorless right-wing clones of those Democratic Underground moonbats.

*Hint 2: This band was featured on the soundtrack of this movie:

Update: Correct answer from John in the comments...

"Must be some Stellar group from LA..."

Name that band: Helen Stellar

From a review on Amazon:
It is absolutely criminal how neglected Helen Stellar have been, considering their talent. I wont bang on about how much they mean to me, but if you are into "dreamy poprock" or "shoegazer" or whatever bizarre title this sub-genre is entitled then this will blow you away.

The band say they were influenced by the scene over here in the UK in the early nineties, stuff such as early Ride before they became rubbish, Slowdive, early Catherine Wheel before they also became rubbish, and Dublin's My Bloody Valentine. Helen Stellar are better though, as unpretentious, honest and intoxicating as this type of music gets.
Here's another great Helen Stellar song:

The kind of music I like to hear when doing design work at the PC. So it's added to my library!

  5. I can't remember the name of the movie, I just remember it has Orlando Bloom in it and in the beginning he rigs his exercise rower to stab him in the chest. Disappointment when rower fails in stabbing task...

I think it has the name of a town or city or something in the name.
