(VIDEO) Bird's Eye View of Cairo Protest

This video -- evidently filmed from a high-level building close to the scene -- shows protesters in Cairo as they make their way across a bridge. It's pretty incredible to see the size of the crowd (starting at 2:00):

  1. LCR: I am an amateur Egyptologist, who has contacts via a forum of professionals. I have been following the ground reports from the archeologists in country, and will continue to do so. I have a post that is being continuously updated.

The big picture: The loss to historians and archeologists is UNIMAGINABLE. Rare Old Kingdom sites have been pillaged. Two of the most famous and best preserved mummies in Egyptology, those of King Tutankhamen’s grandparents, have been beheaded and robbed.

  2. The left is find of yelling about income inequality. This chart, from ZeroHedge, shows that someone earning minimum wage, and a family of four, has a higher economic benefit than someone making $60K.

This shows that income inequality is not what the left claims it to be because they conveniently leave out all the subsidies the lower income family gets.
