The Constitution is Too Damn Old

By RightKlik

Ezra Klein of the Washington Post thinks the U.S. Constitution is too old and confusing. He notes that it is more than 100 years old! Well, yes, 223 is more than 100.

To the point, Ezra thinks that it is better to simply ignore the constitution than to pretend that anyone really understands it or cares about what it really means.

Hey, Ezra! Don't look now, but the constitution is the only thing between you and the pitchforks:

Just for you, EK, here's a little video primer on "natural law." This might help you to understand the importance of the self-evident concepts encapsulated in the Bill of Rights and the rest of the constitution:

Cheer up, Ezra. You don't have to be smart to enjoy the benefits of our constitution.

  2. I'm having the same problem with the Bible. It's too old and irrelevant.

  3. Yes, freedom and the pursuit of happiness is such a difficult concept... Funny thing is, there are so many dying to come to the US and have it...

  4. Ezra Klein reminds me of a wise saying (I think Thomas Sowell), the problem with America is not Obama but that there are far too many Americans that would elect someone like Obama. Ezra Klein is a carbon copy of one of the characters from Atlas Shrugged.

Here's some vintage Ezra Klein from 2006:

    Nazi Ideas

I'm with Jane Galt on this one: Not everything the Nazis touched was bad. Hitler was a vegetarian. Volkswagen is a perfectly good car company. Universal health care is a perfectly good idea. Indeed, the Nazis actually did a pretty good job increasing economic growth and improving standards of living (they were, many think, the first Keynesians, adopting the strategy even before Keynes had come up with it), pushing Germany out of a depression and back into expansion. Unfortunately, they also set out to conquer Europe and exterminate the Jews. People shouldn't do that.

This passage proves what a fool and actually, just how evil fools like Ezra Klein are.

  5. Yes, all those liberals who call the attempts to build walls and fences against illegal immigrants another "Berlin Wall" come to mind. These fools, like the tyro dwarf Ezra, forget that the Berlin Wall was to keep Germans and others enslaved in those workers' paradises behind it INSIDE their prison.

The fences we need to build are to keep illegals OUTSIDE the true paradise on earth that the US Constitution, old as it is, caused over 220 years of respect and adherence.

Where do these fuckwits come from, anyway? Hahvahd?

  6. I've decide to utilize my marginal bully pulpit in defense of what Ezra Klein was implying. He obviously was not clear enough, perhaps an analogy would do the trick :
