What's More Important Than The Constitution?

Q: In Conservative political discussion, what's even more important than the U.S. Constitution?

A: Natural Law.

Bill Whittle "chalks out the basics of Tea Party Conservatism" in this latest chapter of the Firewall series. Like all the others, this one is an entertaining and informative MUST SEE:

  1. It is important to understand that Natural Law is derived from the Creator. Because it is a divine gift, it cannot be taken or legislated away as Whittle points out.

    Alexis de Tocqueville wrote:

"While I was in America, a witness who happened to be called...declared that he did not believe in the existence of God.... The judge refused to admit the evidence, on the ground that the witness had destroyed beforehand all the confidence of the court in what he was about to say." (Democracy in America 1:317)

If one denies all sense of God, Creator, and higher power, then there is no need nor is there basis for Natural Law. Were there no such thing as Natural Law, we should all be subject only to political law and become subjected to disciplinary action from the British Empire for an illegal insurrection called the Declaration of Independence.

A Beck-foreworded book "The Five Thousand Year Leap" opened my eyes to Natural Law. Great video!
