Fox News Fires Glenn Beck for Calling Jon Stewart 'bigot' and Implying that Jews run CNN

by the Left Coast Rebel

Glenn Beck satire aside, I introduce you to the latest and perhaps last gaffe-tastic remark by CNN's Rick Sanchez. How many of you think that any remotely right-of-center television personality could get away with this:

This would be leading, front page material:

(Mediate)- CNN’s Rick Sanchez is not happy with being made fun of constantly on The Daily Show and Colbert Report. It is from this jumping off point that he absolutely unleashed on Jon Stewart and StephenColbert, and at times his own network, on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday.

The big takeaway – Sanchez calls Stewart “a bigot,” then walks it back a bit, and he implies CNN is run by Jews.

Dominick: How is he a bigot?

Sanchez: I think he looks at the world through, his mom, who was a school teacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that. Great, I’m so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine.

Dominick: What group is he bigoted towards?

Sanchez: Everybody else who’s not like him. Look at his show, I mean, what does he surround himself with?

I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.

Another virulent leftist hoist with his own petard. At least he didn't say, "the Jews are coming for my job," only a powerful California congresswoman could get away with something like that.

Updated: CNN canned his ass. Read about it here.

  1. He's not getting away with it. At least not by the left. It's all over the liberal blogs. Sanchez doesn't realize Stewart is only prejudiced toward stupidity. Of which there is a lot of it on TV.

Didn't Glenn Beck call Obama a racist? Didn't Limbaugh call Sotomayor a racist? Didn't they get away with it?

  3. Mutaman, there's one problem with your logic: Obama and Sotomayor ARE racists. I guess the truth is the new hate speech, right?

Come on, maybe your are joking [or really doing mad math] but let's not throw the racist term around. Obama is not a racist. It's okay to disagree with him but do so on realistic terms.

Oh I get it. So since Madmath1 IS a moron and a fool, its ok for me to call him one.

  6. I see, if a black Panther threaten white voters and the Justice Department says it's not a violation because the victims are white, that's not racism? A judge that says because she's LATINO and a WOMAN isn't racist nor sexist? Well, you can call me what you like, coming from you guys, I take it as a compliment.

  7. By bad on Sotomayor, I left it incomplete. She stated that because she's latino and a woman she's automatically smarter and wiser than a white male, that isn't racist nor sexist? Yet you call me a moron. Thanks for the compliment.
