(PHOTOS) Former Miss Spain Ines Sainz, New York Jets, Harassment Controversy

by the Left Coast Rebel

Rush Limbaugh was laughing out loud over the Ines Sainz, New York Jets 'controversy' this morning. He had a sound clip of her explaining the situation she encountered during Monday's New York Jets game, wherein she is now claiming harassment - I was listening in a different room and had no idea who she was, she sounded like Penelope Cruz. I found the corresponding Fox News story on Ines Sainz.

Fox News reports:

Sexy TV sports reporter Ines Sainz slinked into Monday night's New York Jets game in a black minidress with a plunging neckline and matching black stilettos -- while insisting that she "felt very uncomfortable" when lusty Jets players made salacious comments about her in their locker room after practice Saturday.

Sainz, who works for Mexico's TV Azteca, said one Jet shouted to her, "I want to play with a Mexican," and, "Eres muy guapa" -- Spanish for: "You are very beautiful."

"I didn't want any part of it," the bombshell blonde said at the New Meadowlands Stadium before the Jets' heartbreaking 10-9 season-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

"I heard the noise. I knew they were talking about me. I was just focusing on my job and hoping that [quarterback] Mark Sanchez was coming soon so I could interview him."

Earlier Saturday, Jets coach Rex Ryan and defensive-backs coach Dennis Thurman purposely overthrew passes to players on the field during practice so the footballs would land near the former Miss Spain, whose curves were stunningly displayed in tight bluejeans and a white blouse.

"My body type might be the type that could stretch jeans a little," Sainz admitted, while still defending the outfit as appropriate.

NFL security officials and Jets legal staff Monday interviewed reporters who witnessed the sophomoric stunts, which prompted embarrassed team owner Woody Johnson to phone the married mother of three Sunday and offer her an "open apology."

Johnson told ESPNNewYork.com that players would be grilled Tuesday about their conduct toward Sainz -- who has described herself as "the hottest sports reporter in Mexico" and posed nude for a magazine earlier this year.

At the request of Jets brass
, the Association of Women in Sports Media is hosting an "educational session" with the team in the next week because of the locker-room incident.

"If Jets players, coaches and staff ... are found to have acted in unprofessional and harassing behavior toward Ms. Sainz, we expect and demand reprimand and punishment by the NFL and Jets," the group said.

Sainz said Monday night that she considered the on-field antics "a joke, so I didn't pay attention to it." But she said she took the locker-room catcalls more seriously, noting, "I felt very uncomfortable."

"Women should be treated professionally, and they deserve to be treated with respect," she said.

Rush was particularly finding humor in Inez Sainz's claim that she 'should be treated with respect' while being dressed for success sex.

Look, don't get me wrong here - I am married and wouldn't have behaved like the Jets players did. A little context should be in order though in our hyper-politically correct day and age.

Ines Sainz is obviously quite beautiful. Did she expect to find that football players playing for the New York Jets would behave like Sunday school teachers?

I believe these are Ines Sainz jeans that Rush was referring to.

My husband was snoozing on the couch this morning....woke up during the story on Fox news and at first thought it was a joke or a parody...or a dream....

We replayed the video and had a laugh. The woman dressed provocatively for the interview as well.

We had a good laugh. I'm sure the newsmen were fighting over who got to do the interview.

Personally I think the men's locker room is no place for a female reporter, especially when they are all keyed up from a game.

Some women are just stupid. But maybe that works in their favor too.
Is that really the coaches name?

Lisa an American Mom adds some thoughts too:

Please. She's an idiot. She dresses in sexy outfits and is clearly very attractive, gets the attention of male football players IN the locker room and on the field, and then says it was inappropriate and harassing? Come on. As you acknowledge, these guys should have behaved with a little more decorum, (particularly if they are married!) but really... how could anyone take her complaint seriously?

  1. There's education needed in this, but it's not by the New York Jets. We got most likely male hating feminists saying that women are professionals and should be treated as such. Well, if you go looking for an interview in a men's locker room dressed like a hooker, what do these women expect? Perhaps if she was presenting herself professionally, I would say they have a point, but since not, I say this is more the same of these feminist wanting men to act like women and are in denial that the difference between the sexes is men have stronger drives, especially when the female gives the appearance that's she's looking for a date over an interview.
