(VIDEO) Racist USDA Director Shirley Sherrod Exposes NAACP/Government/Media Complex

by the Left Coast Rebel

Seeing something like this from a top official in the Federal government (USDA official Shirley Sherrod) is shocking. On the other hand, this shouldn't surprise anyone. Andrew Breitbart writing for Breitbart:

We are in possession of a video from in which Shirley Sherrod, USDA Georgia Director of Rural Development, speaks at the NAACP Freedom Fund dinner in Georgia. In her meandering speech to what appears to be an all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the prism of race and class distinctions.

In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesn’t do everything she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that he should get help from “one of his own kind”. She refers him to a white lawyer.

Sherrod’s racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another groups’ racial tolerance.

Here's the damning video of Shirley Sherrod speaking before the NAACP in Georgia:

Now if you watched the video above, pay particular attention to part of her speech (1:45) in which she acquiesces the point that ethnocentric Marxism centers on Marxism and not completely on ethnocentrism.

Or something like that - either way, your tax dollars and mine taken from us by gunpoint support this kind of thing.

And don't for a second think that an incident like this is one-of-a-kind. Our Federal Leviathan is packed to the gills with people like Shirley Sherrod. So are the universities, the press.....

The skinny-guy authoritarian that can't quit smoking, putting his feet up on the desk in the Oval Office, as well. Call him the 'grand-poobah' of such.

There's more - and a lot of it at Breitbart. In closing, I particularly love this quote from Andrew Breitbart midway through his piece:

The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus do not want racial harmony. They want political victory, and the race card is their Stradivarius.
Absolutely quotable - I think I'll print that out.

Update: Shirley Sherrod Resigns! Robert Stacy McCain has all the details here. Discussion via Memeorandum. Cross posted to Left Coast Rebel, Proof Positive, Rational Nation.

  1. The real indictment here, LCR, is that these things hit the light of day. I mean, there's no shame or sense of propriety in an organization like the NAACP who -- while in possession or with knowledge of this woman's admissions, proceed to tar the Tea Party as racists.

Um, well, you know, it's, uh, o.k. because we have the elected the anointed one and it can all hang out.

It is an egregious insult to all decent people n this country who truly do follow Martin Luther King's dictum about the content of character.

I weep for this pathetic woman that she has that attitude and I bless those see this as the crime that it is.

One can only hope that this putrid slime keeps oozing out of the machinery that has brought about these conditions until decent men and women everywhere rise up and banish this crap from existence.

  3. If this black racism against whites is boasted in public speaches like this one, imagine how extensive the discreet, clandestine black racism pervades every level of our society today. When we see so many blacks proudly boasting their racism, we can be sure that there are far more blacks practicing anti-white racism in less obvious ways. There were 90% of blacks who voted for Obama, and 90% of blacks consistently support Obama no matter what he does. Even if he sprouted horns and breathed fire and declared that he was the anti-christ, 90% of blacks would support him still.

  4. I'm sick their racism being denied that it is racism.

  5. Wow. Are you familiar with the term color-blind racism? Perhaps they are racists. Perhaps the people coming from the projects making $30k a year are racists, but what is the result of their racism? Doesn't quite match what a racist white CEO can do. Considering they are a minority, it is SIGNIFICANTLY harder to not be racists when the majority has crippled your race.

  6. RM - really? In my world racism is wrong no matter what, it doesn't matter if it is a day laborer or the President, dish washer to CEO that judges by the color of one's skin.

Past precedent is not a justification of future wrongdoing on anyone's part.

Also I am white and a minority here in California, does that make it ok for me to be a racist?
