NAACP Releases Full Shirley Sherrod NAACP/USDA Video

by the Left Coast Rebel

Breitbart was had? NAACP just released the full video of Shirley Sherrod's speech. Listen closely to 17-23 or so on the needle in the video below:

In context this video is nothing of that which the chopped version portrayed. Of course USDA's Shirley Sherrod tows the 'haves vs. the have-nots' credo and later in the video smears the Tea Party movement as 'racist' but the speech vindicates much of her defense that I blogged on today. For following this meme perhaps incorrectly, I apologize. And unlike the far-left nutroots I do so willingly and any time that doing so is (rarely) needed.

NAACP's Todd Jealous calls this a 'teachable moment.' I wish that were only true.

The left will always go by a 'means justify the ends' war plan to their enact their utopian-(dys) topia-agenda as we conservatives and libertarians abide by a clear moral compass that seeks, and is constrained by, truth.

In our minds the end do not justify the means if they are ill-gotten. That is the teachable moment here.

Updated: Could this have been an underhanded 'Alinsky rules' tactic used by Breitbart? Meet me in the comment section to discuss just that tonight.

Updated Again: Must read at American Power, "Saint Shirley Sherrod Undercut...."

Updated x3: DaTechguy has a great writeup too.

  1. I found an interesting contradiction to her comment that the farmer gave her the impression that he was superior to her.

  2. Conclusions drawn misrepresenting the orator and the video poster have mangled the argument. A servant choosing to show her transformation and humility have been short-changed by her employers who would cut their losses without the benefit of full context.

Breitbart is thrown under the bus by those who interpet the results as a witch-hunt and not in full context.

As commented on Beers w Demo, the video was to display the hypocrisy of the NAACP as they lable the movement racist, all the while cheering the racist intent of Ms. Sherrod prior to her conclusion of reconcilliation.
