---I'm back, (kind of).
At the moment I'm actually holed up in the Virginia basement of our familial stay, (which is actually nicer than some homes in San Diego). If you have been to the eastern United States, you are probably aware of just how decked out 'finished' basements are here. This one has a flatscreen on the wall (Fox News is on) is carpeted, decorated and quite comfy. The blog-station is a sleek little Dell on my lap...
Today we looked at some real estate in the Brandermill & surrounding area (more on that later including pictures). Yesterday we ventured north to Thomas Jefferson's plantation, garden, orchard, estate and beautiful home - Monticello (go here for a flash based 'virtual' tour).
Of course, I'm sure you can assume that the Monticello tour was the highlight of my trip (it was but boy was it hot, though)! Rather than perform the injustice of minutiae of my trip (which could spill forth in pages, indulge me in some pictures as evidence. I'll be back in a few minutes with those....
In the meantime, a few stories that caught my eye over at Memeorandum:
- Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, the conservative 'swing' vote on the high court has decided to not retire for at least 3 years. Speculation is that he decided to stay through the 2012 election thus handing conservatives perhaps 5-4 decisions in key rulings such as the Citizen United case. Did King-Obama's radical behavior at the State of the Union travesty have a play in this?
- Obama-Justice will polarize the nation and damage any (little remaining) semblance of the notion of rule of law by suing Arizona for HB1070 soon. Call it the Leviathan flexing it's supreme unconstitutional reach into every area of our lives and litigating an individual state for enforcing laws that protect us, the same laws that the Leviathan refuses to enforce, ignores...
- Here's one for you - NASA reaching out to Muslims. Sound strange? It sure as hell should.
- Last but not least, Wall Street is fleeing the Socialist Democratic Party of America in droves. How can business people have been so stupid as to support Marxist revolutionaries in the first place? That should be the question.

So the Feds taking AZ to court is like me suing someone for doing my job? I would just say thanks and say good work!
I though we were ""United states"? Or did I miss the part where we are ruled by federal govt? Maybe I was sick or playing hooky that day...

John - I think we have all been asleep for far too long and the socialist revolution is all around us now.
