Dennis Hopper Dead at 74 of Prostate Cancer

by the Left Coast Rebel

Rest in peace, Dennis Hopper. If not known more for his portrayal of the unsultry or crusty iconoclast then possibly he will be remembered for acting out the perfect badass character. It's funny, when I think of anyone in Hollywood that may have actually lived the hard living life portrayed on the silver screen, Dennis Hopper comes to mind.

Entertainment Weekly has Dennis Hopper's top 12 movies, as follows:

Easy Rider
(1969)
Rebel Without a Cause (1955)
The Last Movie (1971)
The American Friend (1977)
Apocalypse Now (1979)
Out of the Blue (1980)
Blue Velvet (1986)
Hoosiers (1986)
River's Edge (1987)

  1. Another troubled individual. We hope he finds peace as well.

  2. You should see Doublecrossed. It's about Barry Seal in Arkansas and those that know about such things know Bill was involved. A real eye opener.

We are all troubled by something, may be he was more than most, but I think in the later half of his life he straighten out a bit. Not perfect, but a real character I wouldn't have minded spending a day with.
