Oceanside, California, Tax Day Tea Party April 15, 2010

by the Left Coast Rebel

I just returned home from the Oceanside Tax Day Tea Party. The event was awesome, a large and boisterous crowd, many speakers took the stage at the pier auditorium - many of which are running as Tea Party candidates for California office. Of course the standout was Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, the next United States Senator from the Once Golden State. Please visit my Flickr page and help yourself to all of the Oceanside Tax Day Tea Party pictures.

The weather was great, a balmy 65 or so, the event was right next to the Oceanside pier, on the ocean:

My first shot of the crowd, taken around 4:20 PST, just when the crowd started to trickle in:

The Press was there but nothing more than liberty-loving peaceful, Tea Party activists were to be found, (perhaps except one Infil-Traitor, more on that later):

The crowd is growing. The violent, racist mob seated peacefully (shh, don't tell the press), in the bleachers:

Lots of awesome signs, here are a few of my favorites. Don't Let the D$ck-Tater Make you a Poor-Tater, Hah! :

I ran across a rabid, foaming at the mouth, right-winger-racist type who dared to display signage calling the Chosen One a 'Crypto Marxist', (oh no, wait, it's Donald Douglas from American Power!):

I met the son of Lawrence Naritelli. Nice kid - his dad (Lawrence Naritelli), is running for the Governor's seat in California. The only 'Italian' in the race, or so he says. He may have my vote in the primary:

This one dares to call the Messiah - Obla-Blah!:

Did I mention the Infil-Traitor/plant/fake that I helped harass and out? That's coming up in the next post.

P.S. - Tonight, not a 'birther' was in sight!
