(Reuters) - Corey Haim, a Hollywood teen star of the 1980s who became as famous for his struggles with substance abuse as his acting, died in Los Angeles of an apparent drug overdose, U.S. media reports said Wednesday. He was 38.
(Editor - non-political post) Too young to die but not as young as I remember him from the many 1980s movies that he starred in, actor Corey Haim died today. I was reading that Corey Haim apparently struggled with addictions, including heroin. I assume that a heroin overdose was the final fate of Corey Haim? The human body can only take so much, even at the age of 38. A graphic of then and now above, right. RIP, Corey Haim.
Here's a list of Corey Haim's 80s movies:
- The Edison Twins (1982) (TV)
- Firstborn (1984)
- Secret Admirer (1985)
- Silver Bullet (1985)
- A Time to Live (1985) (TV)
- Murphy's Romance (1985)
- Lucas (1986)
- Roomies (1987) (TV)
- The Lost Boys (1987)
- Watchers (1988)
- License to Drive (1988)
- Dream a Little Dream (1989)
