Brick Throwing! Racist-Teabagging! Homophobic! Violent Tea Partiers! - State-Press Obamunists Can't Help Themselves

The entire modus operandi of the national press is now in full fledged Tea Party/Conservative/Libertarian smear mode. They are out to prove (even when there is no evidence to prove so as above) that the public has to sit down and shut up - to take their power grabs, debt and socialism without as much as a whimper from us. Just scanning headlines proves this press theme, whether it's Paul Krugman waxing that Tea Parties are violent and irrational or the way this WaPo article puts it. This is the opening line, (via Memeo) -

IOWA CITY, IOWA -- He had no plans to throw bricks, issue death threats, spit in faces or scream racial slurs. But Randy Millam, 52, intended to make a scene, so he woke up early Thursday morning to prepare for President Obama's visit.

Aw, shucks - you think? I stopped at this first line in the piece - no need to go beyond that. So this man had no plans to throw bricks (false stories), issue death threats (you mean like shooting up Eric Cantor's office?) or 'spittle' in the face of reps. Also, like Breitbart has said - show me the video where the word 'n$%ger' is being used at the Capital hill Code Red Rally (he's offering $10,000 for the find, by the way. Talk about coming to a story from a faulty, misaligned, propagandist premise. All in the middle of a liberty-destroying power grab of historic proportions that the public loathes. Change the subject! Raaaaacist! Violent!

Last weekend I experienced the identical press-propaganda premise as well when I witnessed a violent anti-tea party lefty attack Tea Party protesters. NBC News (the local NBC San Diego affiliate) filmed the guy as he cursed out Tea Partiers, called them "f@cking tea-bagging, Glenn Beck rednecks." I saw the entire event.

And you know what? NBC scrubbed that section from the edited film that showed up in a news report:

If you forward the video, I am the guy at the right with a khaki colored hat, white shirt with stripes to the right (0:53). Anyway, the NBC 'news' crew scrubbed out the fact that this guy was literally screaming at the crowd before this more cordial conversation that they deemed was fit for public consumption. I wrote about the whole event here. Here's how NBC described the Tea Party protest:
A passerby got into a heated debate with protesters who are against health care reform legislation. (uh, no actually he created a confrontation and used derogatory language).

The Southern California Tax Revolt Coalition held the "Tea Party" protest Saturday outside the downtown NBC studios.

California stands to benefit the most from the health care reform proposal winding its way through Congress. Still, some residents remain suspicious of the way legislators have gone about trying to enact reforms. (the liberal-socialist premise. California 'stands to benefit' from HC. Says who? Obama? Sacramento?)
Anyway this little event in my backyard proved to me how insidious the press is, all the way down to local reports and reporters. Can you imagine if the table had been turned and this guy had screamed a racial slur? I know for sure that NBC would have put that film out there and not scrubbed it.

Pathetic. I am ashamed of all of you.

  1. Good reporting LCR! I didn't think we "Tea Baggers" were the ones being violent. Even me, who usually let's my mouth override my behind (Irish you know), is now always FIRST prepared to witness to those who are offensive and share a kind word. "A kind word turnth away wrath ..." is the motto of most who are in the Tea Party movement. Thank you for sharing the truth. :)

  3. This is why in the book I wrote the press is protrayed as a villain as big as, if not bigger than, the politicians. It's insulting and offensive they way those whose role is to report the facts show a blatant bias. News? I don't think so.

  4. Another example of the government/media complex at work.

There was a time long ago when the main stream media (now lame stream) actually reported the news.

    Great reporting Tim!

  5. I fear the days of the media helping us keep the Govt accountable are gone... We now HAVE TO keep an eye on them both!
