Headline - It's official, Scott Brown demands to be seated. Let the people hear! Just breaking from the Boston Globe, Scott Brown went to Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and demanded to be seated, asking to ''certify without delay'' the results of the Massachusetts election. Scott Brown and his attorney decided to pressure Governor Deval Patrick and Secretary of State William Galvin to seat him sooner than the expected February 11 date due to several key votes coming soon in the Senate.
Scott Brown has everyone jumping on this including Senator Reid's spokesman who promised a fast swear-in and apparently Joe Biden will administer the oath of office for Scott Brown. At this point it seems that the Democrats do not plan on delaying this.
What are your thoughts on this? Personally I find it exciting to see a newly elected spokesman for the counter-Obama agenda to act so decisively and quickly. It is a positive sign of a man with a lot of confidence. Let's hope that confidence translates into delivering on his pledge to vote against Obamacare and put a stop to the 'machine' in Washington.

UPDATED: The Hill is confirming this news as well:
"Once we get his certificate, we expect to swear him in tomorrow afternoon as early as 5 o'clock, which is earlier than he suggested," said Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), in an interview Wednesday.
A senior GOP aide said he expected Brown to be sworn in around 5 p.m. on Thursday although a precise time has not yet been set.
