(PHOTOS) Sarah Palin Stumps for Governor Rick Perry of Texas (as the Beltway Gnashes Their Teeth Over 'Crib Notes') UPDATE: 'Hi Mom' on Palin's Palm

by the Left Coast Rebel

A reader (Mark, where are you from?) sent me a note, the sweet irony - the payback of the ire that is focused toward Palin at the nutroots/beltway/GOP establishment crowd. Do I need to even mention HuffPo? What better way to work it off, as they say, than to go straight from the Nashville Tea Party Convention to a campaign event for Texas Governor Rick Perry? Way to go Saracuda. Here are some pics via Zimbio.

Sarah Palin and Governor Rick Perry tonight, before Rick Perry takes the stage with Sarah Palin. Taken during today's campaign rally for Rick Perry in Cypress, Texas. Rick Perry is facing off Kay Bailey Hutchinson (RINO) and Debra Medina for the GOP primary. UPDATE: OMG, I missed Palin stickin' it to the left - note the scribbled 'Hi Mom' on her left hand. Wow!

Sarah Palin, daughter Piper Palin and rocker Ted Nugent react to a comment by Governor Rick Perry, today, February 7, 2010.

Governor Rick Perry Introduces Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin takes the stage in support of Rick Perry. Do any readers of LCR have any inside information on this event. Did any of you attend?

UPDATE: Readers are schooling me here on Medina being the true conservative in the race. Being an out-of-stater (with a lot of Texas readers) I have to confess ignorance. However, just Googling a little on Medina, I take away that she is the best choice, the best pick for conservativism/libertarian/limited government advocates. Can she win? You guys tell me, head to the polls in the primary and make it happen. Thanks for the head's up guys!

  1. Rick Perry has come to talk tough lately but he hasn't been all that super-awesome. Better than Kay Bailey though.

  6. Sarah Palin has every right to endorse whoever she wants in the Texas Governor's race. But as a Texan who actually has a skin in this hunt and whose life will be directly impacted by this race. I will be supporting the best candidate for Texas. That is Debra Medina!!
I was very disappointed in Palin's support of Perry.
Watch the debates and you will understand. Perry is nothing more that a Big Government Republican.

  8. I am down here in Texas and I am not voting for Perry or Hutchinson. I am on the Medina Bandwagon.

Sarah is holding up the Republican pick...Sarah Palin is a loyal Republican it's her party.

I am a Libertarian Independent so forget Rick "Natfa Superhighway" Perry or Hutchinson: I just play a Conservative in my TV ads.

  9. I agree, as another Texan (native), I will vote Medina.

  10. Voting for Medina as well. Perry is corrupt as Ted Stevens. He has sold us Texans out too many times and we finally have a real alternative.

This article summarizes Perry's ongoing coverup.

  12. The Medina Wave is hitting!!

New TX Gov. Poll Results from Public Policy Polling
Perry is at 39% to 28% for Kay Bailey Hutchison and 24% for Medina.
"There are major splits within the race along ideological lines. Perry is at 42% with conservatives, and Medina is now outpolling Hutchison with them by a 25-23 margin.""There’s no doubt Medina is ridi...ng the wave of discontent with the political establishment. She actually leads the race, 37-32 over Perry, with the third of primary voters who disapprove of Washington politicians. "
