Outfoxed by the Arctic Fox: Sarah Palin was Right about Rahm Emanuel and the 'Retarded' Comment

by the Left Coast Rebel

When news broke yesterday that Sarah Palin was calling for Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's head (for the 'retarded' comment), I was taken back a bit. Initially I didn't like Palin using the left wing tactic of speech police that I find so disgusting. Upon thinking about it a bit more and recognizing the media reaction, I think that I just may have been outfoxed by the Arctic Fox. It is apparent to me now that she simply spoke over the heads and campaign efforts of all the major news outlets, print, broadcast and otherwise and for that I respect her. It shows a tenacity and fiber of character that not many in the spotlight of the conservative movement have. It shows she has a sense of how to pounce on an idea or controversy effectively.

I also listen to you, the reader. A particular reader noted that Palin was simply using Alinsky's Rule 4: "Make the enemy live up to it's own book of rules." The reader notes that liberals view themselves morally superior to everyone in society (especially conservatives) , thus we need to call them out on everything. Especially hypocrisy that disproves their moral superiority.

And it really comes down to this - We are in a war for the future of the United States of America. The very existence of our nation and (any) quality of life is threatened by the debt load that the Federal government is incurring, hastening and simply ignoring. To apply Alinsky rules against those that wish to bankrupt our way of life is something of pure genius. And it's tough.

Go Arctic Fox!

don't fall to this idea my friend unless you wish to stoop to their level. remember, rules are a means to an end. and the liberal believes in the fact that the end justifies the means. so, unless you agree with this, i'd reject any idea of using their rules against them.

  2. @ Griper - I know what you mean, my point here is a bit nuanced from that. I don't believe that the ends justify the means. Ever. I do think though that liberals should be held to a higher standard than they are and that their rules that they place on us should be placed on them as well.I don't think I have to stoop to their level to do this and defeat them.

  3. I think she was brilliant, calling Rahm Emmanuel out on the use of the word which has been one of the favorites over the past year used to malign tea partiers. My expectation is that that word would have been hitting the airwaves this weekend, due to the tea party convention. I think she is setting up the left up to have to own up to decency towards the disabled. I applaud her.
