Confused by the title? Don't be. Governor Jay Nixon in Missouri is the genius behind the state's MIAC Strategic Report released in February of 2009 outlining the so-called Militia Movement. This MIAC report profiled Tea Partiers, 2nd Amendment believers, anti-abortion activist among others as part of the militia domestic terrorist group. The MIAC report was the spiritual predecessor to the DHS report that contained very similar language. Remember this post? Recall that this incident was similar in it's Orwellian overtones to the 'fishy email' White House story as well.
And these reports (profiles) contain in the least Orwellian, fascist overtones, the DHS memo goes as far as profiling pro-lifer, Ron Paul followers, libertarians, military veterans and others. In other words, law abiding citizens that are against the socialist agenda. Why is this pertinent today? Here's why, from BBCW:
Barack Obama named Jay Nixon to his advisory council for defense and national security issues. This was made possible thanks to an executive order Obama signed that was left over by the Bush administration that forms a council of governors. Since Nixon has been a good Obama puppet (see video below), he earned some stripes in the Obama administration.Bungalow Bill goes on to (I'm paraphrasing), equate this Obama executive order to form the so-called council of governors with the possibility of the Federal government taking power away from individual state National Guards. The Obama administration is selling the council of governors as a way to link the Secretaries of defense and homeland security to ensure a better coordination between state and federal military activities. Orwellian, shocking and something to monitor. And not monitor in the way that the DHS memo pointed to.

Governor Jay Nixon earned his Obama stripes last year, and he is being rewarded this week.
I am very much against the Council of Governors. I posted the executive order on my blog the day it was signed, with a picture of Governor Tarkin, the fascist governor from Star Wars.
That choice can only further consolidate opposition to this profoundly boneheaded dunce of a president. The man, and I call him that only loosely on account of his age, is so completely tin-eared to the mood of the public that its really quite staggering to watch him bumble along. Its akin to watching an impending car crash. You know its avoidable but that its going to happen anyway because there's absolutely nothing you can do to alert the driver to the danger because he/she is so completely absorbed in doing the wrong thing.
