Reaganite Republican:

ABC News
staffers got a chilling memo yesterday that promises to leave no part of the organization untouched in major cutbacks that will lead to massive personnel reductions by the end of 2010.

ABC News President David Westin specified no numbers, and was short on specifics, but it's believed the cutbacks will make redundant as many as high as 25% of the ABC News staff, which currently totals about 1,400.

"We will likely have substantially fewer people on staff at ABC News," Westin said in his memo, according to the AP via Yahoo. If they want to be around in three years from now, I would suggest they keep Jake Tapper... about the only real journalist they've got.

  1. Agreed. I think we will be hearing more of these stories in the near future. They have dug their own grave.
