Although the Hawaiian tsunami due to the 8.8 earthquake in Chile turned out to not be quite the event that it possibly could have been, the islands were still affected, as evidence by this time elapsed tsunami video from Hilo Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii. While not shocking, this Hawaii tsunami video is quite interesting:

I was watching the live feed yesterday and the Hilo footage was by far the most interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was proud of our country that we evacuated the low lying areas and kept people safe. And thank goodness nobody got hurt and things were not worse.
