CNN Poll: Most Americans (86 %) Think American Government is 'Broken'

by the Left Coast Rebel

What do you think? Is America broken? Is our system of government broken? Or are the people that 'rule' us simply broken? All of the above? For what it's worth, the Left Coast Rebel believes that our Constitutional Republic is intact but under incredible stress from the so-called leadership that we are suffering under. This 'leadership' that has accelerated the fiscal mishap of the previous administration. The question is, since the percentage of Americans believing that our system is broken being so high - can we turn this belief, this mood into substantive change to bring our nation closer to it's founding? Can we do this through the Tea Party movement - despite what numbskulls like Arnold Schwarzenegger say?

Washington (CNN) - Americans overwhelmingly think that the government in this country is broken, according to a new national poll. But the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Sunday morning, also indicates that the public overwhelmingly holds out hope that what's broken can be fixed.

Eighty-six percent of people questioned in the poll say that our system of government is broken, with 14 percent saying no. Of that 86 percent, 81 percent say that the government can be fixed, with 5 percent saying it's beyond repair.

  1. There is something very wrong with a government so radical that it requires super majorities to get anything passed. And even then they have trouble.

  2. I don't think it is broken, I think it was captured by Wall Street. Take a look at Goldman Sachs- their Tentacles are in everything, every aspect of our lives.

Follow the money even AGW has Goldman's prints all over it.

Corporate Owned Media - that maligns average everyday Americans, is just another arm of the same Beast. But it can't stop the storm that is coming next November, in fact it is adding fuel to the fire. There are more of us, than their bought and paid for politicians.

I have been trying to find the simplist definition of Fascism. Here is Mussolini's

Mussolini defined it as "The merger of government with corporations".

This explains why CORPORATE OWNED MEDIA is attacking average American Citizens - SEE Teabaggers and Tea Party People are Violent. The MSM are being used as a fascistic arm - a propaganda tool to deflect and distract.

People are really too busy bickering over the two political brands: Republican vs Democrat.

    It's really Libertarian vs Statis.

So when Mike Huckabee states that CPAC was too Libertarian, what he is saying is, he doesn't want to confront the power structure "Statis". We know that RINOS can't combat what's going on in Washington, they are part of the problem.

Mike Huckabee sees Libertarians as extreme, I don't see them as extreme at all.

Libertarians are like Plumbers, they show up at your house they point out where the clog is in your plumbing, then they tell you, what they can do to unclog your drain. Here's to Libertarians and like minded Fiscal Conservatives, draining the swamp in November.

Mike Huckabee didn't really do well in the straw poll at CPAC because of his BRAND, no one is interested in going along to get along. I mean it's great that the Governor has a gig with Fox news, but there are a lot of Americans unemployed who don't see gameful employment in their near future.
