This is it folks, you did the work, you achieved the impossible. Nancy Pelousi just admitted that the Senate health care bill version does not have the votes in the House of Representatives. The election of Scott Brown, which you were a big part of, achieved this. We fought and fought and at the last minute (second) this thing has been killed.
My health care/investor contact just checked in with me on this. He knows just what Pelosi's statement represents and just emailed me that the entire health care process has completely fallen apart, with a very small chance of passage now.
Don't let your guard down though, but for now we should be happy, yet apprehensive.

UPDATE: Democratic party cheerleader extrordanaire Ezra Klein thinks that Pelosi's quote was taken out of context. Nice try Ezra, you can put your pom-poms now (at least for a minute).
Crooks and Liars think that the HC bill is still a go, the Dems just need to push for an age 50 Medicare buy-in to salvage it. Oh yah, the writer thinks that Scott Brown's victory 'isn't a big deal'.

I think it’s a mistake to underestimate Bill Clinton at anytime, anywhere but the Obama administration isn’t strong on their learning from history….If I was Barack H Obama, I would be watching my back. ha ha....Doom....no, a really good enema...the therapeutic kind which benefit health and colon alike (called Colonic therapy)...leave one with a beautiful complexion, relaxed expression, and awesome skin tone...NOT to mention a totally detoxified system....Pelosi has NONE of the aforementioned qualities nor is she capable....

If one writer thinks that Brown's victory wasn't a big deal then that one writer should probably go back to sleep. Having the President fly over to pump up the Democratic candidate must mean it was just another race right? Please.
