I saw a blip this evening during the local newscast about a story, a certain councilman named Steven Choi; that had made fun of Nancy Pelosi while she was here in Orange County last week. He poked fun at her by wearing a rendering of Pelosi as Joseph Stalin pinned onto the back of his suit. A funny little aside to this story is that councilman Choi was at the same event that I was invited to protest along with local bloggers Boncka and MAinfo. I couldn't make it but probably would have brushed elbows with Choi. Here he is:
Ok, now that you've seen it is it that big of a deal. No. Is it the best image for an aspiring assemblyman? Probably not. Is it realistic? It is according to Choi, so sue him, freedom of speech and all might get in the way; you know. I'm sure that the ACLU would argue his case. I have a bridge to sell you too, just in case that happens.
The way that my local media is responding would make you think that his action was the biggest deal this side of calling Obama the 'N' word. As we all know, the Bush/Hitler stuff, especially in the Bay Area here in CA were never even mentioned by local media nor national. As for this story and this Choi guy - give me a break. Certainly Pelosi is not responsible for millions murdered, on the other hand she certainly is a statist. For that she should be mocked, made fun of, tarred and feathered, (figuratively), whatever comes to your mind. To even pretend that the press handled stories like this with Bush, (Hitler, et al), is ludicrous and shameful. I saw it with my own eyes up in L.A. a few years ago.
Would I have done it, even as the lonely Left Coast PJ pontificator? No.

It will never change until the MSM changes its policies. They are clearly left, and their greatest weapon is NOT reporting.

I'm moving to Irvine so I can vote for Steve. It is in fact a true story (so, if you go to the liberal thought-police-sponsored-snopes.com don't believe their denials).
The guy has boulders! I mean, not only was he working the crowd, he went over to the reconquista SEIU imigracion-por-todos fairness-for-janitors folks and got in their face big time.

Pelosi has the same evil intent as Stalin and other despots. If this bogus heathcare passes and is enforced, Obama-Pelosi-Reid will be responsible for the untimely deaths of millions. America has one of the best healthcare systems in the world. People travel to our shores from so many underdeveloped and communist countries to find hope of healing. This is such an evil thing the Dem's and Repub's are doing by passing this bill. I pray they reap tenfold the pain & suffering they will have wrought onto the world.
