Typical liberals, all. These guys want to take us back to the stone age, where we all live in caves with no running water or electricity. In this manner, we produce no carbon footprint at all. Well, other than our poisonous breathing with spews dangerous CO2 into THEIR atmosphere with each exhale. Don't think that they don't want to do something about THAT, too. Like eliminate lots of us. Conservatives, that is. Us, and some of the dumber liberals (which is all of them, truth be known).
While we all huddle in caves, of course these limosine liberals will live in mansions overlooking the sea, since there has to be at least a few perks in exchange for the tedium of watching over the peasants, you see.
Much like Orwell's 'Animal Farm' where in the new creedo went from 'all animals are equal' to 'all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.'
It's funny how it said you might be driving an economy car if we have to pay for the damage we do the environment. If the oil runs out before we find a medium that can store and release energy as well as petroleum-based fuels, people of that mind set will be lucky to have any personal vehicle heavier than a bicycle. (I think some technology will come along as the oil runs out, but we don't know for sure.)
BTW, this entire post is the tu quoque fallacy, which is a brand of ad hominem attack. You talking about people's alleged failings not the ideas.
