Code Red Rally, Code Red Rally Pictures, Photos

by the Left Coast Rebel

I am a little late on this one but received an email recently from Americans for Prosperity in regards to the 'Code Red Rally' being staged today at the Capitol. 9/12ers and Tea Part folks got together to protest the impending Senate health care vote on Obamacare. Senator Jim DeMint, Senator Tom Coburn and Lauran Ingraham spoke at the event. AFP has the crowd at 5,000+. I'm going to see if I can get a video of any of the above mentioned speakers. For now, here are some pictures from the event taken from AFP. Please leave a comment if you have an embedded vid as well.

  1. So, the "Astro-turf" got together for some more "violent" protesting, eh? Those tea-party people....

I'm sure Obama will claim "not present" for this one as well.

  2. I am not sure if it was truly 5,000. But the crowd was a good size considering it was a weekday with very little notice of the date.

I have pictures, but it is hubby's birthday today; on my way out to dinner. Will post once everyone is sleeping.

    have a good night.

  3. @ Goddess - Yup, it looks like you have it pegged perfectly.

@ Consgirl - I'll take those off your hands if you don't mind, when I heard about this event I thought of you. Were you in attendance?

  5. @ RK - It's a vampire, plain and simple. It needs it's head chopped off and a wooden stake driven through it's heart. Even then it still may come back.

  6. Hate to be so pessimistic but the jerks in the Capitol probably ignored them from the reports coming out today. Add Lieberman to the list.

  7. Lieberman is a disappointment. As far as Astroturf, I'll leave that to Obama and Acorn.

  8. Libtards can call it whatever they want, but this is a groundswell. People are mad, and unlike liberals, we don't need to be bribed with hooch, smokes and walking around money to vote. We don't need community organizers rounding us up and shipping us to the voting booth.

Conservatives and fed up moderates will go vote next year, and it won't be pretty for the dems.

  9. Very nice showing at that rally. Great piece as well. We need much more passion form the grass roots level to get the Scum out of our Federal and State Government! 2010 & 2012 we need to send a Big Message to the Crooks in DC and to our respective State Governments as well! If you aren't Conservative you are now unemployed!

  11. LCR this is the most arrogant administration in the history of this country. They refuse to listen to the voting public whom they work for. They want to make history passing this Bill no matter what the consequences are. And some Bubbas Americans refuse to wake up. Just look at who they elected in Minnesota, Al Franken the clown.
