Have we lost our minds in this country? Are we so politically correct as to put our security at risk? Are we so neutered as to not call a spade a spade? Is even our own U.S. military infected with the disease that pervades our land?
U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.
It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of
its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.
(The CIA has), been asked by Congress "to preserve" all documents and intelligence files that relate to Hasan......the house intel committee has been refused an intelligence briefing by the DNI or CIA on Hasan's attempt to reach out to al Qaeda, as first reported by ABC News.
Investigators want to know if Hasan maintained contact with a radical mosque leader from Virginia, Anwar al Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen and runs a web site that promotes jihad around the world against the U.S.

If a person has within their power to stop a horrible act, but they stand idle for fear of what might harm them, either in the immediate, or in the future; they are essentially cowards without backbones, showing no allegiance to what is right and good.
Where are the leaders of honor? Where are those with the backbone willing to protect innocent children and the vulnerable citizens?
They are none other than our own service men and women; who've nearly been rendered defenseless by the idiotic legislation of politically minded leaders in the federal government.
These leaders are saturated with a fear of their own military forces. Leaders who've invited a voluntary paralysis brought on by their delusional adherence to politically correct thinking.
He nearly followed the roadmap of the 9/11 terrorists--strip clubs and all. I am waiting for a range owner to step up with some strange story like the pilot schools came forward with. You know they didn't care about landing or taking off, they just wanted the in between steps to know how to fly a plane.
Give me a break. Why don't you go work for law enforcement or the military and use your special insights to stop or solve crimes?
