Sarah Palin, Going Rogue: Really? Still Making Things Up?

by the Left Coast Rebel

From Palin's Facebook page today:

The book tour starts this week, and I look forward to it! I'm most looking forward to meeting many of you, shaking your hands, and telling you,"Thanks for loving America." I'll give you a scoop here and tell you what's on the book's Dedication Page – it's dedicated to you – Patriots – who love the U.S.A. as much as I do.

Amazingly, but not surprisingly, the AP somehow nabbed a copy of the book before it was released. They're now erroneously reporting on the book's contents and are repeating many of the same things they spewed during the campaign and afterwards. We've heard 11 writers are engaged in this opposition research, er, "fact checking" research! Imagine that – 11 AP reporters dedicating time and resources to tearing up the book, instead of using the time and resources to "fact check" what's going on with Sheik Mohammed's trial, Pelosi's health care takeover costs, Hasan's associations, etc. Amazing.

We'll keep setting the record straight, and we'll keep reminding some in the media that Americans are very tired of their non-objective reporting. A great, recent post that accomplishes this is a Conservatives4Palin post. It's got some nice fact checking included. As always, they did a great job holding some of the media accountable for spreading more misinformation and for making things up. You can
read it here. Enjoy!

And I can't wait to see you! God bless the fight for freedom! Keep up the great work, Patriots who love this country.

  1. From your title, I got the impression that she is making things up. Do you think so? From what I have read, It seems like McCain's campaign was a fiasco, and I have even less respect for him than before. His nomination and the promulgation of it was a big mistake.

  3. I just wrote about the media's pick-and-choose fact checking. If she were a Lib, she would be the media's darling. Instead, she stands for America, and the MSM can't stand it!!

  4. Heh... The Palin camp is building an energy we haven't seen since Reagan campaigned for Goldwater.

While the RINO elites are exhorting us to "Go Rouge", the Tea Party re-volutionaries are looking another way. This isn't merely about shouting "Thtop!" This is about genuine roll-back of the statist agenda, push-back against generations of cancer and fraud.

My eldest daughter is looking forward to casting her fist vote... for Palin.

  5. I already love the words coming out of the John McCain camp. Isn't he pathetic!

  6. @ Rightguy - Great post you have there, you are 100% on McClame.

@ Nickie - Yes and don't we just love that?

    @ J Summet - Yup, great points....

@ Ran - I love it! This is OUR vetting process.

  7. Even I could tell that McCain's people were setting her up for failure. Should be a great book.

  8. I don't know whether I'm a lefty, but she gives me the vague feeling of being against everything I believe in. It's a vague feeling and could certainly be wrong. I get the vague feeling she would somehow think Madison, WI is not the real America. America, according to Pailin, is not about a bunch of free-thinking peole and high-tech businesses with people who work hard and clearly remember working on the farm as a child. America, according to Palin, is about people who agree with her, people who believe in a bunch of things not supported by evidence.

@j summett: She stands for the minority in America, a very important role. America (not Palin) stands for America.

The corporate media are unfairly against you, Palin? Give me a break.

  9. @CJ- She believes in something called The Constitution, supported by more than 200 years of evidence.

Did you see any of the town hall meetings this summer? I would say Palin is not part of the minority in this country. My point is that she is not afraid to stand up for this country, not run it down like the POTUS does on a daily basis. She has yet to go on a world apology tour like Maobama.

  10. @CJ:May be you don't know what you stand for. Vague? Madison is a liberal college town... As far as Palin goes, you don't have to agree with everything she says in order to support her, but if her beliefs are against your core values then you know where you stand. Is that vague?

  11. I would like to propose a toast:

Here's to Sarah Palin; may she never - EVER - go away.

I am going to go out on a limb here: No woman since Eleanor Roosevelt has done more to further the cause of progressive politics in the United States of America.

Don'cha just love her? I sure do!

  12. I guess those of us who are the hard working, ....I mean the get dirty and work hard crowd are just out of touch with the yuppie intellectual crowd looking for a watered down fence sitting candidate.

I would pit my knowledge of history against any one of the average drones being pumped out of our high schools colleges today.

When a person doesn't understand their own premise...the vague feelings creep in....knowledge pushes out vague every time.

Sarah Palin is pretty damn close to everything I believe about women, about life, about truth, and about country. I know my premise, I know it very well, and I also know it is RIGHT.

Confidence seems to piss off the left, and it seems to put fence sitters on edge....wonder why...do they prefer someone to bow down and apologize continually???

She is a straight shooting no bs kind of person, (which I am) she is attractive and smart, can handle a verbal debate well, has not engaged in mamby pamby whine tactics that the left has...and her family is a normal American family...with normal American issues....show me ONE perfect family...and if you can produce one, I will tell you they are PHONY

I have respect for any woman who can stand up to the crap she has...and when it comes to what the media did to her family, she had every right to come back swinging...I would have anyway...I am not as nice and diplomatic that way....

  13. Palin hasn't furthered progressive politics. If you are looking for a patsy on the right, Bush and McCain fit the role better. In fact any RINO. On the left it's Acorn, Pelosi and Reid.

  14. @The Right Guy
I did not say she is vague. I said it’s just a vague feeling I get, not having followed her that much. She comes off in the media as a clown.

    @J Summett
“She believes in the Constitution” is meaningless, since most people believe in following the Constitution.

Town halls don’t prove she’s in the majority. I’m not sure how she polls, but I would be shocked to find a majority approves of her. She comes off as someone trying to pretend to be unsophisticated. I’ve never met her, but I’m just saying her media image is awful.
