The HR 3962 issue will be my running headliner for a few days, come here for activist tips and information. Please comment here or email me at leftcoastrebel at gmail.com if I have missed something, if you are in attendance of Bachmann's Capitol march and have pictures or if you simply need a little direction.
I just contacted Adam Radman, the Communications Manager for Americans for Tax Reform for clear direction on the HR 3962 vote. Follow him on Twitter. The vote on Pelosicare is this Saturday, an obvious attempt to skirt the busy week-news cycle. surprised? Adam told me that your time is best spent in calling/emailing the Blue Dogs and urging them to vote against the bill. I stress this point as well, Tuesday's election may be the tipping point for these Dems, read what Olympia Snowe said as an affirmation.
I'm jealous of all of you that are helping with Michele Bachmann's House Call today as well. I'm with you guys in spirit. A Democrat and friend of Just a Conservative Girl is going in my stay by proxy. Go get 'em!
Here she is, the Crown Jewel of Socialism:

UPDATE I:
MAinfo is burning up the phone lines as will I. She has a great Blue Dog Twitter Action List.
Monk's Diner has more info on the Bachmann March. As well as other disturbing aspects of HR 3962.
Malkin has a great oft-updated Bachmann/HR3962 post.
Fox News is livestreaming the protest. Jon Voight is on right now! He is absolutely nailing the fight that we are in. Not afraid to call Obama a socialist, a spade a spade.
I just grabbed these pics from Malkin's site of the protest:

UPDATE II: Mike Pence is speaking now at the rally.
Mark Levin is up.
John Boehner is now speaking.
Fox just shut the Live Feed of the rally, go to Cspan now for it.
They are cycling through different congress members.
Gateway Pundit just put some pictures up of the Kill the Bill rally: Thousands have gathered now. Anyone have a count?
UPDATE III: YOU LIE!!!!!!! Joe Wilson is now speaking.
Small town Oregon congressman Walden of Medford, Bend, making great points.
Welcome to those who came from PA, (Joseph Pitts, R of PA), Steve are you there???
Texas is ROCKING, several congress-critters in a row from the Lone Star State.
The rabid Leftwing is trying to make it look like today's protesters are inciting violence. Several were just arrested at Lieberman's office. Too bad they were Lefties demanding Universal Care. Doesn't fit into the MSM's M.O. now does it?
Bachmann is taking the microphone, soon folks will walk the halls of the Capitol and talk directly to their Reps. Oh my God! They are closing with a prayer. This can't be. Where is the ACLU? They are breaking the law; a prayer this close to the Capitol. I just saw a Tweet that said that the DNC is now saying to the GOP that, "if you want to have Bachmann as your spokesperson, go right ahead." Don't mind if I do.
Bungalow Bill reminds readers when contacting the Blue Dogs:
When you call a Democrat asking them to vote against it using the Constitution, they may try to tell you the Constitution gives them the power or doesn't prevent them from doing this. They may refer to the General Welfare clause. If they do, ask them which of the 18 enumerated powers gives them the right to pass this bill. If they claim the General Welfare clause, refer to Federalist Paper #41 which defines the powers given in the General Welfare clause. They can't get away with the wrong answer if you call them as educated patriots well versed in the words of James Madison. Link for his post on this topic here.
Robert Gibss and the White House thinks that the protesters today are stupid and unsubstantiated. He also poked fun at Jon Voight. Ain't they grand?
UPDATE III:Voight and Bachmann are on Hannity's radio show right now. They mentioned tens of thousands in attendance, perhaps upwards of 40,000. Tough to say just how many folks, I hope that we get realistic estimates. Voight commented that looking out upon the Americans in attendance moved him greatly. Here's another pic, taken from Weasel Zippers.
UPDATE IV:
Politico has a new article up. Via Memeorandum as well, they are claiming that at least 10,000 attended today. This video also accompanies the piece:
UPDATE V: Reader Classic Rider in VA weighs in on the AARP today:
I called AARP to ask about their position since their website said one thing and AP said another. Here is what I feel about AARP! I was lied to this morning by the lady who answered the phone at AARP. Maybe it was a boilerplate answer but either way, it was a LIE! Within hours after being told she didn't know, AARP announced their support. I ask anyone who has an AARP card to do as I am. Cut up your card, scan it, post it on your FB page and send it back with a note you see fit. AARP boasts of 40 million members and they show up today with, "1.5 million member petitions supporting healthcare reform." A pretty small number to decide to support this junk. Good bye
AARP!
Anyone that is a member needs to remember that. Cut Up Your Cards!
