Jesse Jackson: 'You Can't Vote Against Healthcare and Call Yourself a Black Man'

For anyone interested the photo above was taken in Cuba in 1984. Jackson and Comrade Fidel, peas of a pod. Of useful idiots and murderous dictators. I wish I could say here, dear reader what I have always thought of Jesse Jackson as. It would unfortunately include a laundry-list of profanity-laden diatribe. I'll keep it simple and point you to just what he said, also to point you to Another Black Conservative who has the perfect take on this. First, The Hill :

The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.

“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”

The remark stirred a murmur at the reception, held by the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Foundation as part of a series of events revolving around the 25th anniversary of Jackson’s run for president. Several CBC members were in attendance, including Chairwoman Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who’d introduced Jackson.



Uh, a celebration of Jesse's 25th anniversary of his presidential run? What? Ok, now we have that out of the way. You can't be black and be against socialized HC. We know that it's much bigger than that, according to the poverty-pimp-king one cannot be black and be a self-sufficient, free-thinking, capitalistic, happiness pursuing, self-reliance-seeking......Black Man. And that is why he is just as racist; if not even more than the morons of past parading around in white sheets....

Leave it to Jesse to do his part to make sure no blacks wander off the white liberal plantation. Imagine that, the black skin the good Lord gave you isn’t good enough unless you buy into socialized medicine. What a complete joke.

It is this monolithic thinking and strict adherence to liberal policies that has failed the black community time and time again.

  1. some of my friends are going to be upset when they realize they don't really have black skin anymore.

    I too would go off on a long diatribe if my real sentiments were known....especially sans hormonal balance.

    I ranted about the Fidels not long ago. I would be slapping that damn hat off his hairy noggin, and jerking that stogy out of his hand.

  3. If people expect racism in America to end, this sort of nonsense needs to stop. I can't believe people still listen to this man. All he does is incite race and class warfare.

    The last time I checked, the brain works independently of the color of your skin. Skin color should be completely irrelevant to political thought.

    Contrary to what people like him spew out of their mouths, we are all still human beings.
