Sniped from Lew Rockwell, a time elapsed chart-Us map that shows the ever increasing unemployment picture in the US. Imagine that there are currently over 31 million people unemployed in America now -- a number including those involuntarily working parttime and those that have given up on finding a job. The chart represents figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, my guess is that the picture is actually much worse.

  1. I'm seeing things getting better in my area. The 1st quarter of 2009 was the bottom so far for all the businesses I'm involved with. (It has nothing to do w/ that being the stock market bottom too.) The bottom wasn't even that deep. Either the recession is overstated or I've been fortunate that it hasn't affected businesses I'm involved with that much.
