ReplyDeleteWow, nearly rioted. Why is the government always surprised that more people than expected shows up when they're giving something for nothing? Love the woman that claimed she was homeless and in the same breath says she's living with her grandma. Uh, do they know what the word "homeless" means? It doesn't mean you don't OWN a home. What a bunch of worthless parisites. How many of them work considering they have all day to stand in line for freebies?

"Promote the general welfare" in the Preamble does NOT mean to pay for someone else's stuff.
Didn't they do away with leeching after the Middle Ages???
This, to my mind, is a good thing. Great actually. I would like to see it modeled in a dozen cities. Yes, burning money would actually be cheaper as you would only have to pay one guy to do it, and he could be an illegal. But, the point is not money.
ReplyDeleteWhen 50,000 or 100,000 people show up to get money, and only 3,500 get some ($3k max, I think, though utilities might be added), the other 47 to 97 k people are not going to be happy. As well, when those 3,500 end up not actually being able to do more than stay in housing a few more months in reality, they will become quite displeased.
And, who will they be displeased with? Who is in charge of everything right now? Even if most of these people can't speak English or do a simple algebra problem, being teased will lead them to anger, and they will know who it is who teased them. They aren't intellectuals but they can draw simple straight lines. Although, being an intellectual in these times is not exactly high praise.
