And I thought that I had it bad as a net-conservative-pontificator. I have my haters and even a site or two; many posts devoted to bringing me down; me, the little Mr. teabagger, racist, bigot, fool. It's because I'm a conservative, you know the schtick. It's entirely predictable and forgettable. Or is that forgettable and predictable? Either way.
Which is entirely off topic, being that this post is not about me.
What it is about is what I am reading here - Sarah Palin's book release of Going Rogue Nov 17 is going to coincide directly with a hit-piece smearjob book with a very similiar cover, (above), released on the same day, titled Going Rouge. Is this even legal you ask? Apparently it is.
The publisher is a certain OR Books, it will be compiled by two editors from The Nation. Whoopee. It will also be entirely paperback. And a paperback that embraces "progressive change in politics, culture and the way we do business," via their site.
Sounds lovely. I just have a few points.
- Isn't the President and both branches of Congress occupied by The Nation readers? Why the need to directly compete with Palin? Obsession? I mean come on, she's just a former governor of Alaska....
- Why is Sarah so hated? Repeat #1. Based on this, I love her.
- I must make an urgent request. I am in dire need of kitty-litter tray liner. My NY Times free subscribe ran out and a substitute is desperately needed. I'm Going Rouge.....
That is all.

Sarah sure does bring out the 'creativity' in the dark forces of the Left. I wonder what they're so afraid of.
ReplyDeleteWhat won't these people do to this woman? Really, it is sick.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Going Rouge is going to be sold only online. If they are lucky 1,000 copies will be sold. Why would any of the leftist loons waste their money when they can get all the anti-Palin hatred they want from MSNBC, and on the net for free.
ReplyDeleteGoing Rogue is set to be a blockbuster best seller.
I checked Barnes and Noble just minutes ago. Going Rogue is now #6 among ALL books. It had falled below the top 10 for several days, probably as a result of Amazon and WalMart having reduced the price to $9.00, whereas B&N continue to charge $15.69. In the catagory of Political Biography, Going Rogue hardcover is #1, Going Rogue large print paperback is #4, and Going Rogue compact disc is #10.
At Amazon, Going Rogue continues to be #2 among ALL books, just behind Stephen King's new book, and #1 in non-fiction.
At WalMart, Going Rogue is #1 among Coming Soon, ahead of Stephen King whose price is also reduced to $9
At Border, Going Rogue continues to be #1
At Books a Million, Going Rogue continues to be #1 in non-fiction.
@ Nickie - Doesn't she? I guess it is a badge of honor for her and shows how disgusting a lot of the 'debate' is out there.
ReplyDelete@ Justacongirl - It is, we need to point this out more!
@ Greg - Thanks for the info, it will be interesting to see the press reaction to her bestseller. Crickets anyone?
