The poll indicates that about half of the country, 51 percent, has an unfavorable view of Palin, with 42 percent seeing her in a positive light. Nearly two-thirds of those questioned say Palin's not a typical politician, and feel she's a good role model for women. Fifty-six
percent add that Palin cares about people, and a similar amount think she's honest and trustworthy. But the survey indicates Americans are split over whether Palin shares their values, agrees with them on the issues, or if she's a strong leader.
"Sarah Palin has one advantage that many past Republican candidates have not shared - Americans think she cares about people like them," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

Sarah Palin CNN Poll: Presidential Qualification
by the Left Coast Rebel
CNN just released a poll purportedly showing that Sarah Palin is viewed by some 70% of the public as unqualified for the presidency. Which is interesting and frankly not out of the realm of predictability for a CNN poll anyway,(especially concerning Palin), not having access to sampling and the actual phraseology involved blurs my opinion a bit. The other press-outlets are focusing on the GOPer-centric portion of the poll and the predilection for Huckabee over Palin in particular among Repub voters. Of which I really have no opinion.
Seemingly, the real meat and potatoes for myself was a line buried in the CNN article:
Glossed over and not focused on, can you not imagine the trait of relatability being more important to the country faced with more Abominations of Obamanation? Just tune into the Left Coast Rebel more today for details of just today's A.O.'s....
Summary: Palin is sensed as being Trustworthy and Genuine, remember that in the upcoming weeks, months and years. The presidential quality can/will develop as people get to know her.

Well, why would we want a president that cares about people, and is honest and trustworthy? Think about that, really. We don't think she is presidental material yet she is honest and trustworthy. What does that say about the people in this country?
I'd wager that many the same people who say Palin isn't qualified voted for Obama. Last time I checked, he had less experience than her, and see where that's getting us.
Oh the irony!
