Parents are being banned from playing with their children in council recreation areas because they have not been vetted by police.
Mothers and fathers are being forced to watch their children from outside perimeter fences because of fears they could be paedophiles.
Watford Council was branded a 'disgrace' yesterday after excluding parents from two fenced-off adventure playgrounds unless they first undergo criminal record checks.
Children as young as five will instead be supervised by council 'play
rangers' who have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau.Councillors insist they are merely following Government regulations and cannot allow adults to walk around playgrounds 'unchecked'.
Play Rangers, Unchecked Adults, Paedophiles = Parents. Coming to a city near you, America?
This story reminds me of the Orwellian, Dystopian Sci-Fi, Totalitarian issue regarding the same country and way of thinking, my recollection being with Greenie Agenda/Cap and Trade in the formerly Great Britain. Remember this:

Kids these days are all wuses. Goggles to play Conkers? We were LUCKY to play conkers growing up....when I was growing up, the best we had to play "catch the rusty knife". That's right. You tell that to kids these days, they won't believe you.

I know, horrible to say. The fact of the matter, predators do NOT reform, most of them only sit in prison sharing and exchanging ideas on how to more successfully lure and find kids the next time and NOT get caught doing it. SEE NAMBLA-YUCK

ReplyDeleteIts only hope is if the likes of Gordon Brown (IMO a genuine IDIOT), his dunce of a (mercifully) former Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith and all the other spineless Labourites are swept en masse from power in the coming elections.
Still, I think it may be too late in the game. Nothing less than a paradigm shift in the political/economic mindset of the British people themselves can cure the patient now. In other words, a MIRACLE is needed!
Ever wonder why public pools don't have diving boards or playgrounds don't have monkey bars, teeter tooters? Lawsuits to "protect" the children from themselves from actions that can lead to injuries. Geesh, what's next? Cooking? After all, they could get burned if they don't pay attention. Now Britian decides they need to protect children from their parents who, for 99% of non-mulim parents anyways, are far more interested and better adept at protecting them than the nanny state. If they're really worried about the parents being a threat, then why do they give the children back after they're done playing. If such abuse is going on, it's going on at home, not in the playground for all to see. I wonder what's next from this dysfunctional country? A background check before you can have sex to create a child in the first place? As the Kinks once sang, "there's no England anymore."
