In the beginning of watching GB today I thought it was boring........... I actually have degree's in art history, and english lit............. When he began down the road of "building" "architecture" seeing out but not seeing in....... I was blown away.... His analogies rocked me. They were perfect analogies of what and IS this country. Basically, "don't look in, but we have a clouded, veiled view of looking out". I loved the one of 30 rock where it was a "reflection" of past and present..... I was laughing so hard my dog barked. Mirrors are made of glass, this administration is nothing but smoke and mirrors....
ReplyDeleteI was happy to see that the other news channels sorta got on board with Fox, by speaking about their invitations to "report" when Fox was not.......... I immediately thought, it was solidarity, my police thinking was, "we all bleed blue". Well my hubby informed me, that I was wrong. He used the gored ox example................... He explained, that if the White House went after Fox, who's next???? They know where their bread is buttered, hence, if the White House will try and take down Beck and associates, the other news agencies are next. This was not an honorable thing, as I had thought. This was about CYA..... The White House is going to go after ALL news. Hence our First Ammendment........... That goes first, then they have been hammering away already on the Second Ammendment. News shows, the internet are all about money, when you hit them in the wallet is when they will be sounding the alarm as they did today... Not because they are great Americans because they are pigs that are trying save themselves from the slaughter house. Put up a score 1 for us today. The White House and Obama is scared, and I think got a message that there are more "unwashed" then they thought!
@ CPD - Great points! This is absolutely about CYA in addition to Chicago thuggery, the 'unwashed' as you say have risen from their slumber. I wonder where we go from here?
